Uh...not closes but not quite Raimud. I have a muslim background, muslim family ,muslim family in muslim lands, and a muslim name.I was raised in a secular household by my parents wishes. I never took my religion seriously.But my uncles ,aunts, and cousins are all practicing muslims. The Imam see me not muslim for my lack of faith. Yet many in the muslim world see me some one like me as muslim by culture and with loyalty due.

That is why president Obama say I am a christian but my father is a muslim. Actually ,he is neither but exposed to both he is agnostic and raised to be secular.For either of us to say something against the religion is seen as a act of betrayal.

So if you become a Christian, is your life in danger? Is that what you're trying to say? I can see your imans point though, to call you a mooslimb is about equivalent to calling someone who goes to a united church a Christian, call it what you like, but it just ain't so.

Oh, now that sounds like a tough one, between a rock and a hard place, (Rolling Stones), by the way, lol, so if you were to really covert, it would be over between you and your parents (family), correct??, that would be sad, I feel for you, my family went through the same thing, I was Catholic when we came to America, and my step father's mother had me Baptised a Southern Baptist, my mother was against it all the way, she flipped out with her mother in-law, they did not speak for a while, a long while, I myself at the time did not understand, wasn't untill I got older, then I had enough of the fighting and pretty much told all of them to kiss me where the sun don't shine, and then I took all the wrong turns for the worse, I started smoking pot and associated with all the kids that my parents said were no good, and it lasted for many years, and got in too deep, with cocain too, so then I married and my wife and her idiot family said that, I must be a Luthern, here we go again, personally speaking, my in-laws were the phonyest a§§ wipes I ever met, so when my wife divorced me, it was a blessing indeed, so I know what your going though, and all I can say is, it's your life, it's your soul, it's your choice, don't let others make up your mind for you, but don't make the wrong decission either.

Allah (pbuh) cannot be false a god. If Allah (pbuh) is a false God then the one you call God (pbuh) is also a false God. You have not proven that the Quran calls the one you God is different from Allah (pbuh)
