    Please help me find Jesus

I am a 20 year old University student, a former homosexual and Lutheran. I grew up both in Denmark and Sweden, but now I have seen the error of my ways. Please help me find Jesus and our TRUE God, so I can beg forgiveness and hope to lead a normal life.

I am so tired of being wrong and unhappy with my life. But I'm not strong enough to take the journey alone. Can anyone help me?

Jesus can help you! Just get yourself a leather bound copy of the KJV1611, read it from cover to cover, and do absolutely everything it says.

But how do I do that? Where do I get it?

I'm sorry if I ask stupid questions, I'm just a bit confused right now.

            A bookstore. Or online.

Any independent Baptist church will have one available. You can also read one here online for free.
Christians are superior because we possess an understanding that unbelievers lack. It is through the Power of Jesus only the converted mind is able to understand what is going on in the world; what the Communists are really up to; what Satan's intentions are. Most unbelievers do not even believe in Satan and cannot understand his tactics.

There was a refridgerator magnet that read:

"I found Jesus. He was behind the couch the entire time!"

I'm not certain why that comment was deemed clever enough to print on a magnet. If my Bible fell behind the couch, that's where I would find Jesus, too.

He can always be found in the pages of the Bible. If you want the real scoop on the Son of God, never trust any source but the direct words of God's own missive to the human race.

Welcome friend. You have come to the right place. Satan can fool you with Lutherans. Old Marty was good what with not trusting the joos and nailing feces to the door of a Catholic "church", but he surely wasn't a Baptist.

You have to take the big step. Humble yourself before God. Get down on your knees and pour out your sins. Yes, even THAT one. Beg God to forgive you. Ask the Lord Jesus Christ into your heart, then stand back for a gullywasher of power slamming into you. Get out your wallet and tithe. Don't be a cheapskate.

I personally recommend you watch the sermons of the Right Reverend Robert Tilton, in addition to those of Landover's extensive library of sermons by our own Godly Pastors. Watch Betty Bowers for Christian tips, but NO IMPURE THOUGHTS about her, got it? It will be very hard once you see her videos, but you'll manage.

Our Pastors are available for individual counseling. Go for it.

Welcome to the freindliest forum on the plant which coinidently is God's Favorite(c) too.

Son, God has been by our side all your life, just waiting for you to notice him. He stood quietly by as you slung feces at Him when you were younger, nver faltering. He is waiting for you to reach out to Him, to hold your hands in His, to gaze deep into your eyes and hold you tight. He wants to be with you late at night, keeping you warm.

Amos 3:6 Shall a trumpet be blown in the city, and the people not be afraid? shall there be evil in a city, and the LORD hath not done it?
Numbers 21:6 And the LORD sent fiery serpents among the people, and they bit the people; and much people of Israel died.
Matthew 10:34 Think not that I am come to send peace on earth: I came not to send peace, but a sword.
Matthew 10:35 For I am come to set a man at variance against his father, and the daughter against her mother, and the daughter in law against her mother in law.

                        Thank you for your advice

I regret my sins deep in my heart and have started praying. I already feel happier now that I have found my place in the world.

Also I am really enjoying reading and understanding the Bible, though I am not finished yet.

No one is ever "done" reading the Bible. You will spend the rest of your life trying to understand it. Every time something new comes along, be it an invention or a fad, or an event, both historical and natural, you must immediately seek out the Bible to see what God has to say about it.

At times, you may find that you do not precisely "enjoy" reading the Bible. For example, a law might pass that gives people the right to finally stone gays to death in this country. Perhaps you will encounter an old friend who was nice to you and learn that he or she is gay.

It may be hard for you to participate in the God-ordained execution. Maybe you just don't like the sight of blood. Those are the times when we must ask God for extra strength that we may honor Him with perfect obedience.

Me, I throw like a girl and have a bad shoulder. I might not enjoy stoning and prefer a good hanging. But God's Laws are clear. The only hangings mentioned in the Bible were part of foreign cultures (Book of Esther) and Judas Iscariot's ('nuff said).

So if God commands me to throw a stone, I might not enjoy it, but I will darn tootin' do it! Abraham probably didn't enjoy laying out his son and raising his knife arm (unless the kid had done something particularly irritating that day), but he did it. Just goes to show that God is perfect. If He had less than perfect timing, Issac would have been toast. (Or at least steak tartare).

                          Dedicatedly Yours,

                          Handmaiden
