Hello sons and daughters of Christ. My name is Bobby Robinson. I moved from the sun drenched lands of Jamaica to the glorious state of Louisiana 5 years ago. In this time I changed from a pentecostal to a glorious baptist, thanks to Rev. Mark Smith of Alpine Baptist Church.

In this time I learned the true will of God and my lord Jesus. I've come to share my beliefs with brothers and sisters of the faith, as this site is an alcove in the heathen internet. Please take me with the comfort that our lord would have you do.

I've always loved peach pie my entire life.

Me and my wife have spawned two beautiful baby boys. A third is also on the way. If there are any men who can grow these boys into loyal, God-fearing men, it is me and Rev. Smith.

Soon after I moved to Baton Rouge, some friendly men came to my doorstep telling me the joys in life that a baptist lifestyle could bring. I went with them, expecting little more than crazy mumbo-jumbo (Remember, I was pentecostal.) Instead, the true word of God took hold of me, and once I turned Baptist, I could never go back.

My favorite quote was discovered upon that day, when I learned the true power of our lord:

2 Kings 2:23-24
From there Elisha went up to Bethel. As he was walking along the road, some boys came out of the town and jeered at him. “Get out of here, baldy!” they said. “Get out of here, baldy!” He turned around, looked at them and called down a curse on them in the name of the LORD. Then two bears came out of the woods and mauled forty-two of the boys.

Yes I have a cousin who is pentecostal, I went their once with her and it was a strange experience. From what I understand her's was quite modest compared to most.

I am sorry but I posted the wrong version. I found the King James Version of the passage soon after I discovered my error.

Also, I moved in shortly after Katrina, expecting the housing prices to be lower than ever. Boy was I was wrong, but thank the Lord for guiding me in at that time, as many of the heathens were either shipped to Houston or stuck in flooded trailers.

welcome dweller in the glory of Christ!! I do hope that you have the will to drive the sin out of your children with a swift backhand of justice! So what drove you to leave heathen Jamaica and seek a land that the lord has blessed? and as winner said we aren't interested in anything other than the Lord and how to live by him properly so be sure to get your praying face on when you enter this forum!! it's great to find another christian and hope you enjoy!
