    Hi all

I'm a Christian. I was raised Christian, but rebelled, convinced that my Christianity was a product of my upbringing, rather than a personal choice. I experimented with false religions and atheism, but found my way back to God, by the grace of God.

Brothers, I have great admiration for your zeal. Your dedication to the Word of God can only be commended. If only more Christians today would follow your example.

Having said that, I must disagree with your general treatment of others.

I am unable to find where the Bible promotes name calling. I am unable to find anything in the Bible that gives us the right to "condemn to hell". That's for God. If it's intended as humorous, I missed the humor. I do however find love in the Bible. It's all over the place. Love. Love your wife as Christ loves you. Isn't that what the Bible teaches in Eph 5:25? Is it ok for us to call our wives derogatory names? I don't recall Jesus using "stupid" or "bitch" when referring to his church. I'm with you on the role and the place of the woman. She should stay at home, as the Bible instructs. She should obey her husband, as the Bible instructs. And brothers, we, as the head of the house, should love our wives as Christ loves us - which is an unfathomable love.

As for racism, I'm a white man living in South Africa. I know about racism. I grew up in "apartheid" with blacks calling me "boss" even though I was a snot nose little boy. Racism is an ugly thing brothers. It breaks the oppressor and the oppressed. Put that behind you. Jesus died for me and for you and for blacks - and everyone else (Mat 28:19, Luk 24:47, Rev 15:4 etc.).

My apology for mixing criticism into my introduction. Speaking from the heart here.

    God bless,

    Re: Hi all

Im sorry but andre sound's like a name for a burrito Do you really think that a true christian would "name call"? name calling is an act of exaggeration, true Christians never exaggerate the sin and homosexual activities shown by satan worshippers. They name themselves and we merely call them by it

Hi Andrea, so you are a Christian, wonderful. Tell me young lady do you follow the entire Bible, or perhaps just the parts that make you all warm and fuzzy inside?

Well I'm sure that most atheists that we get here are just rebellious teenagers, in fact most will probably return to whatever religion their parents were rather than finding true Christianity. Unfortunately some will not have that chance.

Having said that, I must disagree with your general treatment of others.

I am unable to find where the Bible promotes name calling. I am unable to find anything in the Bible that gives us the right to "condemn to hell".
No God does not give us the right to condemn anyone to Hell, however telling someone they're heading to Hell is not the same thing. It is (as one pastor puts it) like a cop saying "you're going to get 20 years for this". He is not sentencing the person to 20 years, he's just informing. It is the judge that sends you away for 20 years, and it is God that condemns someone to Hell.

That's for God. If it's intended as humorous, I missed the humor. I do however find love in the Bible. It's all over the place. Love. Love your wife as Christ loves you. No Jesus preferd terms like "dog", "brood of vipers" and "whore".
Jesus was Impolite, deal with it

As for wives, I'm not understanding your problem. What derogatory names? I must submit to my husband, and if I don't he corrects me, but God has stated that he only corrects those that he loves.

Hebrews 12:6 For whom the Lord loveth he chasteneth, and scourgeth every son whom he receiveth.

As for racism, I'm a white man living in South Africa. I know about racism. I grew up in "apartheid" with blacks calling me "boss" even though I was a snot nose little boy. God bless,
I think you may be mixing up what a lot of unsaved trash say on here as opposed to what the True Christians(TM) are saying. We are not racists, and racism is not tolerated on this board.

However, I don't understand how having the sons of Ham calling you boss is wrong? Yes God wants them saved, yes we preach to them, so I'm not sure what the scripture you quoted has to do with anything. Perhaps it's better in South Africa, but it seems that here given the choice between turning their life over to Christ, or going to a fluffy bunny church that tells them they can collect welfare, sit on the stoop, drink 40's and smoke crack all day and still get into heaven, they take the easy way out. That's why atheists brag about there being an 80% rate of Christians in the prison system. Do you really believe that True Christians(TM) end up in prison?

Have you read the Bible? The Bible is chock full of verses that specifically deal with this. For eg:
Proverbs 12:22 "Lying lips [are] abomination to the LORD: but they that deal truly [are] his delight."
Are you seriously telling me that I should not speak truth when I encounter a whore, a Godmocker, a fag, or any other hellbound piece of human trash? Are you telling me to lie? Wow!

I am unable to find anything in the Bible that gives us the right to "condemn to hell". That's for God.
Yes, it is for God. What gave you the impression we don't know that? Are you such a sensitive girlie-man that you don't like us repeating what God tells us in the Bible? Hell is real.
Matthew 13:41-42 "The Son of man shall send forth his angels, and they shall gather out of his kingdom all things that offend, and them which do iniquity; And shall cast them into a furnace of fire: there shall be wailing and gnashing of teeth."
I'm not casting my own judgment when I observe a fag and tell him he's going to Hell. I am repeating what God says. I should ask YOU why you hate the fag so much that you are content to let him go to Hell without warning!

I do however find love in the Bible. It's all over the place. Love. Love your wife as Christ loves you. Isn't that what the Bible teaches in Eph 5:25?
Then you have absolutely NO excuse for not preaching the true word to every foul sinner you encounter! God tells us to love, yet you are so uncaring, so unloving that you will not warn them of what's coming.
Matthew 22:37-40 "Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind. This is the first and great commandment. And the second [is] like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets."
You are a hateful, spiteful false Christian. I say this out of love, to warn you from the downward path you are on. I don't want you to burn forever in Hell but that's where you are headed. This is God's truth, not mine!

Thanks for your reply. I agree with you, a fag is a fag. Name calling is when names like that are assigned arbitrarily. If you're honest, there is a good deal of that going on here.

You quoted Proverbs 12:22. Do you "deal truly" with me when you call me a girlie-man? Have you met me? Do you "deal truly" with me when you call me a "hateful, spiteful false Christian"? I can't imagine how you arrived at that one. Nothing in my post was hateful, spiteful or false. Not intentionally. I saw injustice and I called it.

Posting here was a mistake. After posting I spent more time reading random posts and I think it best to leave you to it. I won't be back. Too much hatred for me, and charging money for salvation? Good luck explaining that one to God. I will pray for this church and its members.

Hi Andre, Welcome. You seem like a swell fellow and I am glad to have you on God's Team (we are No.1, certainly not #2 after all).

Tell me Andre, how did you come about to be Saved©?

Edit: I wanted to add - I am sorry you have seen so much hate on the forum, but we get so many here who hate Jesus. Not sure why as we do not invited hates to come in. So allow me to apologize for the Riff Raff and extend my hand in a totally heterosexual manner in friendship to you.
Isaiah 45:7 I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the LORD do all these things.
Amos 3:6 Shall a trumpet be blown in the city, and the people not be afraid? shall there be evil in a city, and the LORD hath not done it?
Numbers 21:6 And the LORD sent fiery serpents among the people, and they bit the people; and much people of Israel died.
Matthew 10:34 Think not that I am come to send peace on earth: I came not to send peace, but a sword.
Matthew 10:35 For I am come to set a man at variance against his father, and the daughter against her mother, and the daughter in law against her mother in law.
Matthew 10:36 And a man's foes shall be they of his own household.

This tears me apart, it seems that so many almost True Christians™ come here and claim they can't stay because of the hatred. I'm assuming it's all of the garbage that the Unsaved Trash post. I know the pastors leave it up for others to learn from, and to show that we don't ban people just because they disagree with us. One part of me says we should go the way of other Christian boards and get heavy handed with the ban and delete functions. But on the other hand I think of people who have come here to be saved, and others that are close to being saved (Didymus Much, I'm looking at you).

Sorry but that's not true. People are seeing members with the True Christian tag associated with their usernames calling others fag, whore, slut and like names. I've seen that here.

Thing is, if those people are indeed guilty of those sins you should be praying for them and admonishing them in a way that will touch their spirits. Never heard of anyone being enlightened by being called names and being made fun of. Besides that some so-called true Christians here are very sarcastic. I don't see how sarcasm helps because it's indirect speech and hints at something that you really want to say.

Just say what you mean. And it's possible to do all the above in love and still be true to God's Word. Sometimes the responses I see from long-time True Christian members makes me think this site is meant to be something of a humorous take on Christians. I hope that's not the case because if it is, it means you don't believe God is real.

He is and He sees and knows what's in our hearts.
Judgment Day is real, people. I'd be afraid to mess around at the expense of my salvation.

Ok, since you're being civil, I'll make this my new last post.

After I rebelled against my Christian upbringing and the lies I was told in the churches I attended, atheism seemed like the way to go. The more I looked for reasons to believe in God, the fewer reasons I found. So I asked myself, why believe? But then, why not believe? This took me a while to figure out, but if there is no definitive proof for or against the existence of God, then it comes down to a decision based on faith.

Atheists don't like the idea, but they also base their decision on faith. They have no choice. Many people remain on the fence, spending their lives looking for proof, never committing to a path.

It's simple. Do you want to believe? My answer was "yes". I want to believe. Proof or divine revelation welcome, but not required. Father in heaven, I believe in You! I believe that Jesus died for me!

Only when I reached that point was I at peace. Only when I decided - not my parents or my pastor or group pressure but me - when I decided for Jesus on faith alone, was I able to find peace and able to stop second guessing my own decision. With that hurdle behind me now, I can finally focus on God.

It's a good place to be. I highly recommend it

Really? Why have I not noticed this then? Why do I feel like we are under constant Godless attacks who call us all sorts of names because we follow the Word of God.

Well perhaps some of my Brothers get a little nasty at times, but when you look at the number of trolls they have to deal with day in and day out, can you blame them? They're only human and sometimes they get short tempered. I have been known to get rather sarcastic as well.

We're as real as the fires of Hell, how dare you question what we are trying to do here. Are you one of those fuzzy bunny Christians that think Jesus was a pot smokin' hippie who was "cool" with whatever you do? Because that's not what is in the Bible. Oh and if we're not Christian, because we get nasty at times (really have you read what we go through on here?) then I guess you're not a Christian either. Remember that "Judge not lest ye be judged"? You know that is all about judging hypocritically, right?

I'll pray for your soul, but I'm pretty sure that your heart is hardened beyond help. Have you ever actually read your Bible?

I highly recommend it
Andre, that is terrible some evil false Christian pastor lied to you. What ever did they say?

How did you finally find Jesus? You words may be of help to some other lost soul. Testimony friend, testify of the glory!

In my case, my church preached against homosexuality, but as society changed and being a fag became more acceptable, my church 'bowed to pressure'. Over time they went from being against homosexuality to being neutral to welcoming them at the church.

Christianity is about changing ourselves in accordance with the moral code found in the Bible, not changing our interpretation of the Bible to comply with changes in society. This is Christianity 101, but many churches get it wrong. In the process, these "Christians" drive people away from God. It almost cost me my salvation. At the time, I made the error of judging Christianity on what Christians do/say.

Fact is that even "true" Christians make mistakes. We're human. That's not the problem. The problem comes when Christians (with all their faults) look down on the unsaved and call them "trash". If we do that, we elevate ourselves above human. When we then inevitably fail to live up to those standards, non-Christians look at us and think "Yikes, okay, if that's a true Christian, maybe Christianity is not for me".

Pastor Ezekiel is a good example. He spews hatred like there's no tomorrow, and then goes around issuing infractions for the crime of spewing hatred. I'd be upset if it wasn't so funny.

C'mon Pastor Ezekiel. You sound like a clever lad. Can you think of something more constructive to do with your life?

                              Re: Hi all

Andre, you certainly have some deep seated issues. Were you molested as a child?

Sure, we are all most all human. Everyone is born a sinner and is therefore unsaved trash. Until you repent, make reparations and satisfy the Church and your Pastor can you become Saved(c). Now, I understand that use ts you and if you can have a bona-fide True Christian(tm) Baptist Pastor vouch for you, that 'Unsaved Trash' moniker will be removed post haste.

Pastor Ezekiel is a shining example of how to live by the Bible. I have never seen him do a single thing that was not Biblically correct. I think you need to apologize to him.

Now to the root of your question. Yes, sadly, many Churches today are gong the fuzzy bunny route, relaxing and outright ignoring the Bible. They might as well say on the sign out front "Come on in and Spit on baby Jesus". These false Christians and make believe Pastors are in it for the big money. They could care less about what happens when they die, they think they can buy their way out of Hell. Do they really think they can bribe God?
