Science books are information of scientific finds that have already been experimented and proven to be true. The bible has been edited, translated, and rewritten, there's no actually scientific proof that it's stories are nonfiction. However, if you drop a ball on the ground, that's gravity right there.

Yes, that sounds quite reasonable.
Here's a few common sense scientific reasonings that can be observed:
Viruses are contagious because of bacteria.
men and women have an equal number of ribs. Look at some really skinny people, you can count them.
The appendix is an organ left over from before we'd evolved to what we are today. Why else would you have a completely useless organ?
Get in an airplane and look down, you'll see the curvature of the earth.
if the world were flat, would we have wind? no. would we have tides? no. in fact, all the water would have fallen off the Earth by now.

There, I've touched on a few different scientific observations. Just gonna say, the whole point of science is that it's based on observation (I.E. the scientific method), which means that absolutly EVERYTHING in science is observable given the right technology.
In fact, even the computer you're using operates on science.

Scientists discover function of human appendix

Surgeons and immunologists at the Duke University Medical School believe they have unraveled the mystery behind the function of the human appendix.

The organ that was once thought to be vestigial — lacking a specific function in the body — is now believed to produce and protect good bacteria in the digestive tract.

The gut is full of good bacteria that aid in digestion, but diseases such as cholera and amoebic dysentery can clear out these microbes.

It is now believed that the function of the appendix is to regenerate and store the helpful bacteria.

This theory is supported by the fact that food and germs pass in a one-way flow just below the large intestine.

The fact that scientists didn't understand the function until recently doesn't mean it doesn't have one. Suggesting that scientists know everything there is to know about the human body is not only arrogant, it's something that no scientist would assert. You are basing your positions on faith in scientists, rather than knowledge of observed events.
