    Hey Everyone :)

Hello to all on this site, I'm Katrina.

Don't worry I'm not atheist at all, I've been brought up as a Christian since birth and I'm devoted to my beliefs.

I hope by joining this site I'll become a part of a greater Christian community and be able to learn off everyone I meet.

    Re: Hey Everyone

    Nice to meet you.

First of all, do you have permission to be here from your husband (if married) or father (if not)?

If you do have permission, please tell us what church you go to and what your favorite Bible verse is and how you came to find Jesus. Yes, you say you've been brought up Christian. That's a cultural/traditional thing. What was going on when you had your "Aha" moment and knew that Jesus was more than any story in a book?

      Re: Hey Everyone

Nice to meet you too barton.

Yes I discussed joining the site with my husband and he thought it was a great idea.

I go to my local church which is the Werribee Baptist Church in Victoria.

      As for my moment...

I was 15 at the time, and my brother was at a school sports camp. He was hit in the head, and was knocked unconscious. I went to the hospital, and I was told that he may have brain damage. After crying and acting like a mess for awhile, I prayed. I prayed that he would be okay, and I hoped that God would help me. After that night, my brother had to go in for surgery. There was a risk of complications during the surgery, and he may have died. But, he came out of the operating theater completely fine. I attribute this to God, and since then I have known that God truly exists.

        Re: Hey Everyone

I just realized I forgot to add my favorite bible verse sorry!!

Okay here it is, revelation 6:1

"And I saw when the Lamb opened one of the seals, and I heard, as it were the noise of thunder, one of the four beasts saying, Come and see."

Why it's my favorite it's hard to explain; deeply personal reasons... but that's it.
