First off, I know this isn't the right forum, but I can't post in pray request.

Now to actually begin, I'm requesting for you all to pray for my lost, and damned soul. I am an agnostic which means I do not believe in god, but still consider it as a possibility. I'm just asking you as Christians to find the little kindness that is left in your heart to pray for me. I know if it was worth anything I would pray for your souls.

Next, I think it would be wise for some of you (most) to go back to high school chemistry or pick up a science book. I don't do this hoping it will turn you away from god. In fact, I hope it strengthens your belief in him. I'm not against your belief I feel you have the right to believe whatever you want. I just think it is wise to understand science in this modern world we live in.

Also, besides a science book you should review that most holy book that you place so much faith in. All of your interpretations seem very cruel. I always thought that Jesus encouraged love. All i see here is hate and ignorance. It saddens me that you can't just love your fellow man as is taught in the bible. If this is what your god is really like, I would rather burn in hell for eternity, and I will smile knowing that I stuck to what I know is right.

You can hate me if you want. You can say I'll go to hell. It doesn't matter I will still work to rid the world of ignorance and hatred. I believe that someday all man kind can love each other and live in harmony despite their beliefs.

Oh dear, of course I am praying for you! I pray each and every day that everybody who doesn't know our Lord will read the Bible and find out what Christianity really has to offer to the world.

Most people here do understand secular science, and ironically we understand it better than the teenaged Godmockers who enjoy coming here and persecuting us for our beliefs. Its just that when science conflicts with what God says, well, lets just say we know where our loyalties lie.

Friend, we don't interpret the Bible at all. We merely follow it to the letter. In fact, the Bible actually commands us not to interpret it:

"Knowing this first, that no prophecy of the scripture is of any private interpretation." 2 Peter 1:20

The people who really interpret the Bible in ways its not meant to be interpreted and who twist scripture for their own ends are the fluffy bunny false christians who make such bold statements like "God is love", "Jesus told us not to judge" and "The Bible tells us to love everybody". The Bible says many things, and not all of it is nice or fun, but it IS the Word of God.

Try reading it sometime, and I mean really reading through it, and you will see why its so important to follow it to the letter.

You can hate me if you want. You can say I'll go to hell. It doesn't matter I will still work to rid the world of ignorance and hatred. I believe that someday all man kind can love each other and live in harmony despite their beliefs.

Friend, I don't hate you, but it is a sad fact that you will be going to Hell if you don't repent of your sins, read the Bible and follow all of God's commandments, and accept Jesus as your Lord and Savior. And it is only when everybody in the world does those things that all of mankind will be able to live in harmony together.

Pick up a KJV Bible, read it, follow every word of it and get yourself baptized. We can show you the right way, only you are responsible for your own salvation.

So my BSc. isn't good enough for you? We are among the few Christians who actually read the Bible. The ones that tell you that Jesus was a hippie "everythings cool" lover, are the ones who haven't read their Bibles. In fact this mostly comes from the 1960's "Jesus Freaks". I hate that the term has become synonymous with "Fundamental Christian", there's a world of difference.

Oh, and somehow I don't think you'll be smiling in a pit of burning sulfur for all of eternity. That just shows me that you've never thought it through.

Why thank you Lycia. I'm glad at least someone has the decency to pray for me. I wasn't sure kindness existed on here. All I have seen is hatred. It makes me really sad that people can act like that. Next, you can believe in secular science if you want, but I can prove to you the Earth is a sphere, actually geoid, and the Earth does orbit around the Sun. Yes, gravity does exist. Its your choice though. If you choose to ignore undeniable facts that is fine; I'm not here to preach to you. I just wanted to ask for your prays and maybe have some small discussion to better understand you. I still don't understand your interpretation of God (there I capitalized it happy?). It seems to have so many contradictions in it. Finally, I guess we could live in harmony if everyone believed the same thing; I just never see that happening. I believe everyone has a choice and we wont all choose the same thing. Is your only solution to that is that everyone who doesn't believe in your good should die and be eternally punished for it?

Well, that is exactly the reason I can't believe in God. Its cruel and heartless. I can't ever bring myself to believe that, or live for eternity with people like that. Of course we all have a choice. And why do you people think that we're the ones sending people to Hell? We don't punish anyone, we just warn you of God's punishments that he has clearly put forward in His Word. This is like blaming the passenger in your car for a speeding ticket because they told you that you were going to fast.

I suggest you turn on your stove (assuming it's gas) and stick your hand in the flame. I'd be willing to bet you won't be smiling, and that you won't last more than a few seconds.

Now, after your skin starts to blister (what, you didn't last long enough for a second-degree burn?), imagine that being your entire body. Forever. Never being consumed, no chance of escape, no possibility of death.

Are you still smiling?

God created the universe and everything in it. HE decides what is right and what is wrong. In fact, anything God does -- saving a single child from death when the airplane she's on crashes and burns the remaining passengers alive, or letting thousands in Haiti die of cholera after thousands more died in the earthquake -- is, BY DEFINITION, right.

YOU, a creation of God, do not get to tell HIM what is right.

So-called "human morality" is entirely subjective. YOUR "right" is not even another person's "right", much less God's.

In many cultures, female genital mutilation is "right". Failing to tear out a young girl's clitoris with a pair of pliers, ensuring that at best sexual relations will be of no interest to her (and at worst, agonizingly painful) is considered "wrong".

In some cultures, it's considered "right" to super-glue the anuses of homosexual men shut, then force them to drink a diarrhea-inducing concoction so they die slowly and in agonizing pain as their captors praise Allah. That's "human morality". They're doing what their imaginary friend, the false god Allah, wants them to do.
