Am I Saved?

I found this website using a search engine, risking exposure to pornography, because I need help. I was recently saved (or so I hope) while in jail while serving time for robbery. I hope I'm free to talk about my past. I used to rob people and use the money for drugs and tickets for metal shows. I now have 8 1/4 days clean from drugs. When in county jail a Christian brother (not mid-city/urban kind of brother) talked to me every day about Jesus and gave me a bible. A King James Version in jail! He said it was Christian for me to trade a Top Ramen and a pack of Camels for the bible and the lectures but I'm not sure since I am new to this and spent all my previous life listening to metal. There were actually a lot of guys in jail with Jesus tattoos so I guess the slammer is in reality a pretty cool place.

I am now free from jail but need to know if what my Christian inmate friend did for me was enough to truly save me. I love Jesus and barely remember my past life and I have a favorite bible verse:

Ephesians 6:11 Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the Devil.

PS I want to know what I can do to save my girlfriend. She is already very obedient and it's only another 3 years until she's legal age so I can be seen with her outside of her trailer.

Have you read the entire KJV Bible?
Do you follow all 600+ commandments?
Have you been baptized in a proper Bible believing church?

I can understand why. There are rules and order in the universe. God is in charge of all. You don't seem to know them at all. You pick and choose whatever you wish. For instance you chose mercury. It is not a rare earth. You believe one thing is as good as another. You were wrong twice in one thread.

I chose mercury because it's liquid at room temp. That makes it unique.

But questions have correct answers. That is why you are encouraged to read your 1611 King James Bible, so that you can escape the eternal torments of Hell.

Mercury is not that unique. You forgot bromine, gallium, cesium, rubidium and francium.
