I hope this is the right place to introduce myself, i am looking forward to talking to all the true christians here, as it is becoming harder to find individuals who have true and virtuous substance about them as of late, what with the media and current affairs.

Welcome friend. Please share something about yourself with us. Which denomination are you? What are some of your favorite Bible verses?Originally posted by praise_the_lord1984 View PostI hope this is the right place to introduce myself, i am looking forward to talking to all the true christians here, as it is becoming harder to find individuals who have true and virtuous substance about them as of late, what with the media and current affairs.
A couple of words of advice; please show proper respect by capitalizing words such as Jesus, Bible, God and Christian. Also, the verse you used in your signature was not properly identified.
I hope and pray you find Jesus here.

Here is a partial list from just a few scripture verses:
Hypocrites (Matthew 24:51), The Unforgiving (Mark 11:26), Homosexuals (Romans 1:26, 27), Fornicators (Romans 1:29), The Wicked (Romans 1:29), The Covetous (Romans 1:29), The Malicious (Romans 1:29), The Envious (Romans 1:29), Murderers (Romans 1:29), The Deceitful (Romans 1:29), Backbiters (Romans 1:30), Haters of God (Romans 1:30), The Despiteful (Romans 1:30), The Proud (Romans 1:30), Boasters (Romans 1:30), Inventors of evil (Romans 1:30), Disobedient to parents (Romans 1:30), Covenant breakers (Romans 1:31), The Unmerciful (Romans 1:31), The Implacable (Romans 1:31), The Unrighteous (1Corinthians 6:9), Idolaters (1Corinthians 6:9), Adulterers (1Corinthians 6:9), The Effeminate (1Corinthians 6:9), Thieves (1Corinthians 6:10), Drunkards (1Corinthians 6:10), Reviler (1Corinthians 6:10), Extortioners (1Corinthians 6:10), The Fearful (Revelation 21:8), The Unbelieving (Revelation 21:8), The Abominable (Revelation 21:8), Whoremongers (Revelation 21:8), Sorcerers (Revelation 21:8), All Liars (Revelation 21:8)

Re: hello everybody
My apologies, fellow Christian. I belong to the Church of God Mountain Assembly. I am quite hard pressed to state any verse as my favourite, they are all the words of God. However I must say that the verse within my signature happens to hold some immense personal value for myself and I hope, all fellow Christians.

That is too bad, friend, because they are a false church. Do you kiss snakes and flop around on the floor in an unseemly manner, shouting gibberish?
I hope you can find Jesus here. Let me tell you why I am a True Christian™ and not a false Christian Pentecostalist.
Pentecostalism traces itself back no further than New Years Eve, 1899. (Topeka, KS). This is when a small group of people supposedly received a "Divine Revelation" for the first time ever recorded.
True Christianity dates back to 33 AD when the 12 disciples received the "Baptism of the Holy Spirit." (Acts 2:4). This was a result of the fulfillment of the promise Jesus gave to his disciples. (Acts 1:8).
The Pentecostal church cannot show authority from God's word for its beginning!! Pentecostalism teaches that the "power of the Holy Spirit" fell first on the 120 gathered in the upper room. The Bible teaches that only the 12 disciples received first the "Holy Spirit". (Acts 1:26-2:1).
Pentecostalism believes that this power is received today because of the "New Revelation of God" in 1899. The Bible teaches no such thing. (2 Tim 3:16-17). The scripture holds all that man needs to know for his salvation. There are no new revelations.
Pentecostalism teaches that in 1914 another revelation was received, revealing that being baptized in "Jesus Name" became tenets of faith. Thus, they produced a law, a formula! That is not what the Bible says. (Mat 28:19-20).
In the early half of this century (1900 - 1944) several Pentecostal groups were established. Two of those are: Pentecostal Assemblies of Jesus Christ, Inc., and the Pentecostal Church, Inc. In 1944 these two bodies became known as the UNITED PENTECOSTAL CHURCH. Thier authority is: Pentecostal Church Manual, pp. 8-10, Foreword.
The Bible teaches that the Lord established only one church. (Mat 16:18). This is the only church that Christ and the Apostles ever speak of.
Here are some of the Pentecostal practices that prove they are not following the KJV1611 Bible, as God commands.
A. They claim that through the instrument of the Holy Spirit, miracles and healing incurable diseases occur daily. Silver fillings become Gold, Poor become miraculously rich, Dead are raised, and Sick people instantly healed.
I will not limit God. He has the power to heal or kill if he so chooses. Man does not have that power. If he does, where is the proof? Only the disciples and those they laid hands on had this power. They are all dead.
B.Pentecostalism teaches that a person may speak in "tongues" while under the influence of the "Holy Spirit" just like Peter and the other Apostles at Pentecost.
The only others who were able to do this were Cornelius and his kinfolk (Acts 10:44-46). And those whom the apostles laid their hands on. Don't we all have the continued influence of the Holy Spirit through the word? Can any one of us speak in an "unlearned" language?
C. "Pentecostalism" espouses religion as a "romantic" philosophy, that the heart of man has reasons which his mind knows not of, and that man's feelings are the highest authority.
The Bible is truth. (John 17:17). The truth is not subjective. It does not originate with a person's own thinking. Religion is not based on a "feel good" experience. Millions of false Christians think this way, and they are bound for eternal damnation.
I get excited sometimes because of the truth. That is natural. The Bible must be read, studied and obeyed. (2 Tim 2:15; John 8:31) The Bible is the absolute, inspired and authoritative Word of God. (2 Tim 3:16-17; 2 Pet 1:20-21).
When a man regards his feelings as the basic authority, he is on the wrong path.
To reject the Word of God and do "that which is right in our own eyes" is to reject God. (1 Sam 15:22-26; Mat 7:13-14). I feel good about the truth but my feeling good is not authority!
D. Pentecostalism believes and teaches that women may participate in leading in prayer, teaching, and preaching in public, and doing the work of an evangelist and teacher.
The Holy Spirit contrasted the duties of men from that of women in public prayer. (1 Tim 2:8-15). Women are to learn in silence. (1 Cor 14:34). They are not to teach in any capacity over a man. Women many not "teach" (deliver discourses). Women are forbidden to preach. (1 Cor. 14:34)
There are many things women can and should be doing. Cooking, scrubbing floors, baking soldiers for Christ, for example.
In conclusion, I pray that you will reject this false church and allow Jesus into your heart. He has called you here for a reason. Read the Bible again, and beg His forgiveness for deviating from the True Christian™ path to Salvation.

Re: hello everybody
In what way is following the Holy Bible a selfish act? You false Christians get these crazy ideas from cherry picking the verses you like, and ignoring the rest.Originally posted by Google is god View Postwow, all this time I thought christianity was about respecting others, peace of mind ect...
But it sounds like here, its very selfish.
Jesus wants us to reject God mockers, queers and witches, just to name a few. Read the Bible cover to cover.

Re: hello everybody
Why would you follow jesus?? If not to save your own ass??
(god mockers, aka mocking your belief ??
you have a right to your belief so you have any right to reject them.

Re: hello everybody
I suppose you've never heard of a funny little thing called AIDS. Gays, faggots, and homers are constantly trying to sodomize the unwitting public in places such as bus stations, parks, and public bathrooms. This is how they deposit their AIDS demons into the heterosexual population. I'm not sure how you can be so flippant about something as serious as that.Originally posted by Google is god View Postgay people ??? well can they help it, its not like they hurt you or anything.Let Jesus Christ Wash You Clean

If you spend less time writhing upon the floor and speaking in tongues, my friend, the Lord might grant you the time and inclination to write properly.Originally posted by Google is god View PostWhy would you follow jesus?? If not to save your own ass??

God -- the God of True Christians™ -- is written with an upper-case "G"; we don't much care if you mock Tecciztecatl or Ajisukitakahikone; mock away. Those are lower-case gods -- mere holograms of Satan, in essence. Mocking capital-"G" God, however, may get you raped eternally by the infernal versions of same.
I am not even sure what "you have a right to your belief so you have any right to reject them" is supposed to mean.
As to homers, or what you call gay "people" --
Thou shalt not lie with mankind, as with womankind: it is abomination. Leviticus 18:22
That is capital-"G" God's Word, KJV 1611.
An abomination is a vile, shameful, or detestable action. That means it should be stamped out.
Can they help it? Look, my poor lower-case "christian" friend -- how far will you take this? The Marquis de Sade describes men who "just can't help" needing anorexic redheaded vixens to run around canopy beds until half-dead of exhaustion, so that they can copulate with their sweaty underarms. There are "men" -- men like unto beasts -- who "just can't help" dipping their engorged tallywackers into goldfish bowls whilst God looks on. How do you think that makes God feel? And the goldfish?
The fact is that homers can help it -- many have been helped right here at Landover Baptist. We can even help Negroes.
Thou shalt not suffer a witch to live. Exodus 22:18
What's unclear about this to you? Now, I shall readily admit that most of the "witches" slithering into this august forum cast spells that have all the strength of a crack baby's little fists against the insidious tentacles of a full-grown catlick priest interested in his pee-pee... but they still serve Satan, even if ineffectually. As we learned here not long ago, they also murder innocent opossums to satisfy their lust.
This "right to a belief" mumbo jumbo of yours is actually of the Devil, friend.
Are you a Negress, by any chance?
A good old negro in the slums of the town
Preached at a sister for her velvet gown.
Howled at a brother for his low-down ways,
His prowling, guzzling, sneak-thief days.
Beat on the Bible till he wore it out
Starting the jubilee revival shout.
And some had visions, as they stood on chairs,
And sang of Jacob, and the golden stairs,
And they all repented, a thousand strong
From their stupor and savagery and sin and wrong
And slammed with their hymn books till they shook the room
With "glory, glory, glory,"
And "Boom, boom, BOOM."
(Vachel Lindsay's "The Congo: A Study of the Negro Race")
I don't really care very much about your "right to a belief" or any of your other so-called "rights" -- except inasmuch as I can help you find salvation, of course.
Mumbo-Jumbo is dead in the jungle.
Never again will he hoo-doo you.
Sincerely,
Magna, née Magnus

Re: hello everybody
I apologize for having confused the first lower-case fake "christian" with the second commentator. These abominations so infuriate me that my vision sometimes blurs.
