I wanted to collaborate with you guys and have an open discussion. But there's no justice here. I'm not totally Christian, but I wanted to see your depth as a "human". Aren't you guys interested in converting people? I really think this is a haphazard way of going a out it. There's a lot of persecuting rhetoric.

How Do People Get Saved if They Are Not Allowed to Attend Church?

It never ceases to amaze us the number of so-called "Christians" ask us this question. If they would only blow the dust off of their Bibles and put their noses into the 16th Chapter of Mark, they would find that Jesus commands us to evangelize the world! He didn't say, "find a comfortable pew each Sunday morning and cross your fingers in hopes that some unsaved piece of human refuse will walk through the doors of your church." No, he said, ""Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel." That word, "go" there is a verb. And for those of you illiterate, misguided Christians who allow unsaved people through the doors of your church each Sunday morning, a verb is an "action word," and "go" means "GO!" as in "leave," or "SCRAM!" It doesn't mean, sit on your hiney! The only place for evangelism is outside the confines of the Lord's four-walled holy dwelling place. God's home is a place for True Christians™ to fellowship. Allowing an unsaved person into church is like Rush Limbaugh inviting Hillary Clinton to a meeting of Republicans on how to defeat the Democrats in 2012. It's something you JUST DON'T DO! PERIOD!

Your first post was slander against members of Landover, accusing them of prostituting their daughters and engaging in statutory rape. Felonies!

I was raised extremely Christian. (Quoting scripture at people, praying believing the bible is historic fact). Then a met a girl who was not Christian. She was Mormon and I became very interested finding out about it. (because she was raised that way). I slowly realized Joseph Smith wasn't a prophet. Just some charasmatic dude who wanted people to believe him. He is wrong and a liar. But I'm the back of my head I couldn't stop thinking "kinda like Jesus and all the fantastic magical stories correlate with Mormonism. So I've abondoned anyone that claims they have the one spiritual truth. It's simply unbelievable. I think life is about expressing whats true to YOU.

I was only saying what I believed to be true at the time. I read a story about a certain member of lanover staff and talked about it. I believe subjugation of women is wrong and THAT is my point.

What you believe is completely irrelevant, unless you believe in 100% of the 1611 version of the King James Bible. You mentioned earlier that you were not "totally Christian". Well, that makes you 100% damned to burn in the pits of hell for all eternity. Half measures simply do not work in matters of faith friend.

Precisely! You pick and choose every day what parts you follow.

When Jesus tells you to give all you have to the poor, you quote Limbaugh at them.

When Jesus says to help them, you can quote Beck if it makes you sleep better at night.

No. This church is a beacon in the darkness that is the interwebs preaching the Truth for those ready to accept it. Many of our members reside around the world. If it weren't for us, they would have never found a godly church like ours.

Friend, that statement is simultaneously the height of both idiocy and hubris! By your logic, if I do not believe in gravity, I would float up into space! Or if believed I could fly, I could jump off of the Empire State Building and not be harmed.

Ignorance is not a get out of hell free card friend, far from it. As a matter of fact, ignorance of God's Word is the exact opposite, it is ticket straight to hell.

By your logic Professor, I should believe something someone says because of a consequence that may or may not exist. I'm talking about believing things that are REAL. Of course I know if I jump off a building or bridge I will die. There's no question. I can't know writing a thank you note to my friend will deepen our friendship, but I BELIEVE it will. I can't know Jesus is the son of God, so I don't believe it. I don't have to.

I see. So if you put your hand on a hot stove you will not get burned if you believe you won't? We have places for people like that whose beliefs are so disparate from reality. They are called mental hospitals.

He cannot place his hand upon the hot stove if he doesn't believe the hot stove is there. But he can still be burned by it. He doesn't believe he will burn in hell because he doesn't believe its there, but he still will be burned by it.

I think the problem is: you guys take your belief as fact when they are mutually exclusive. I know I will burn my hand on a hot stove if I put it there. This can be tested. No one has died, gone to hell (or heaven), came back, and was like "it totally exists, guys." For anyone to assert that this is a fact and they know it, is a fool. its okay to believe it, but not to hold over someone else's BELIEF.
