    Hello

My name is Nattie, and I am a college student working on a degree in art education.

I no longer go to church, but I wish so ever much to once again be inside one. I do not read the Bible much, but my favorite verse is John 3:16. It gives me the feeling that I'm loved even though I am such an awful person.

Jesus was always around me as a child, but I don't think I have found him fully. I pray that this site will change that.

    Re: Hello

Welcome. Judging from your name, you are a female. So I shall ask, do you have your father's or your husband/boyfriend's permission to be on here?
1Now the LORD had said unto Abram, Get thee out of thy country, and from thy kindred, and from thy father's house, unto a land that I will shew thee: 2 And I will make of thee a great nation, and I will bless thee, and make thy name great; and thou shalt be a blessing:
3 And I will bless them that bless thee, and curse him that curseth thee: and in thee shall all families of the earth be blessed. Genesis 12:1-3

Yes, I am female, and yes, I do have permission from my husband.

        Re: Hello

Then I say welcome and I hope you can help spread God's word, specifically the King James Bible 1611, and convert any heathen's around you. And I do hope we can help you accept Jesus as your Lord and Savior.
By the way, do you cook and clean?

Practice makes perfect, many say. Even though perfection cannot be achieved by man, only God, and he's ALWAYS perfect. I do suggest you practice some on cooking. Cook wholesome foods and none of that new fangled stuff promising its under 100 calories and stuff.
And also, have you given birth to any soldiers for God yet?

Nattie, how would John 3:16 give you the feeling that God loves you, if you remain a sinner and spit in the face of His Temporary Sacrifice?
              Bible boring? Nonsense!

Oh, why, I would never cook anything under 2000 calories! How can my husband go throughout the day with a measly meal of 100 or less??

I have yet to give birth to any, but I am definitely carrying two little soldiers in my womb as of this moment :3

If you are hoping to keep your Husband happy, you may want to begin reading some good cooking recipe books. A True Christian™ woman always makes her Husband food on a nightly basis. It is to tell them that you are thankful and to show God that as well.

Making up for your years of not giving birth to them I see. That's always good. But like But as Rev. M. Rodimer said above me

Perhaps I am mistaken in the feelings that that verse gives me--I am a woman after all. I feel an encouragement to make myself better; I have not really felt that outside of the slap of my husband's palm against my face. I might have confused the two...

Do you have any suggestions? I usually use the recipes my mother gave me, but a variety would be nice.

Maybe you could look into taking some True Christian™ cooking classes? I took some through my Church a few years ago and have learned quite a lot of new recipes. My Husband has approved of all of them but he always tells me that his favorite is the pie I make. You should always supply him with some form of dessert, however, the pie is normally the best option.

                            Nattie, Christianity isn't a self-improvement program.

It is obedience to God. You either obey or you do not, Nattie. Which will you do? Will you obey ALL of God's Laws, or just the ones you like?
