Sister SUV, did you notice he said he wants to hold "true conversation" with some of the "more active members" ... yet he didn't see you've been here since 2006 and are pushing 10,000 posts? This gets more and more confusing.

Why is it when you want to bring forth a bunch of reasons why atheist/evolution are wrong, but then blast or just make up a bunch of non-sequiter arguments(like SUV demonstrated for us) at them for posting any evidence in defense, even in a respectful manner.

Well friend, to put it simply; this isn't a debate forum. This forum exists to discuss the Bible in a peaceful manner and to praise Jesus. That said, we do have a number of long-time members who don't agree with us and aren't even Baptists, but they (usually) keep their arguments to themselves and conduct themselves in a respectful manner here.

Which brings me to my next point. If you'll go back and re-read your first post, I think you'll agree that it was quite inflammatory. You did open up by calling us hypocrites, after all.

So why don't we start over? Do you have any specific concerns I can help allay?

I'll leave you with this bit of scripture to get you started:

"Am I therefore become your enemy, because I tell you the truth?" Galatians 4:16

Though I am sure we disagree on many issues, we aren't your enemy here, friend. We care enough about you to want you to avoid eternal punishment in Hell and to get Saved(c)!

Can you show me in the Holy KJV1611 the part where God says that it's easy to be a True Christian(TM)? Because it is not easy. To follow each and every one of God's words in hard. Sure we could turn our backs to Jesus and just pick out the easy stuff like the Ten Commandments, but is that what God wants? Its false Christians just like you that give the True Christians(TM) a bad name. So do us a favor and stop calling yourself a Christian. When i was first introduced to lord, I was told of love and compassion, moral guidelines to live my life by, and the promise of salvation. It all sounded beautiful, and what I was needing in my life. I began reading the bible, and attending a local church in my area. So far everything has been going great.

Dear friend, I hope that you will continue reading your Bible (it's a KJV, right?). By doing so, you will learn that while Christianity is about love and compassion, the fluffy bunnies have done you a grave disservice by spreading the lie that that's all it's about.

Define "underage." Support your answer with Scripture.

I'm a good person. I don't need your title, in person or otherwise, to know that I'm a true christian.

Salvation isn't through being a good person.

Isaiah 64:6: But we are all as an unclean [thing], and all our righteousnesses [are] as filthy rags; and we all do fade as a leaf; and our iniquities, like the wind, have taken us away.

Eph. 2:8-9: For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: [it is] the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast.

I live by the ten commandments, not because thats what they tell me every sunday, not because the bible says so, but solely because that's what a good person does.

The Bible includes well over ten commandments, and we have to follow all of them, except for the ones that the Bible specifically identifies as having been fulfilled by Christ.

And I've received a infraction, not for posting this thread, in a calm manner, but for "ignoring sister SUV".

She didn't take up a stance on the issue, she just called me a quitter and communist. I just wanted to have a real conversation.

I see now, this was a dream beyond the grasps of this forum.
