    Hey, Someone help explain this to me please!

    So whats up, I respect your views so please respect mine and don't tell me I'm going to burn in hell because I'm already aware of this.

    I just have a couple questions that I would love some explanations of, but first an introduction.

    I was raised Christian, forced to go to church when I was young, it sucked. I can't believe that a man survived in a fish for 3 days, that Adam and Eve were the first people on earth and that we are all inbred, and so on.

    The thing is, I'm a good person, never have I stolen or done anything bad but yet im going to hell. Someone who commits murder can go to Heaven if he repents his sins before death though. That makes a lot of sense!

    I just chill in life, I don't think it's a test, I think we are all here out of luck.

    So here are some questions for you, why am I going to hell if I'm probably a better person that all of you combined? (I lurked some thread and all of you are racist and or sexist)

    How is your religion correct when there are many religions before yours? That dosn't make sense I don't care how deranged you are.

    Thanks guys! I'M THE DEVIL BECAUSE I'VE NEVER STOLEN OR DISCRIMINATED AGAINST ANYONE OR DONE ANYTHING MORALLY INCORRECT AHHHHHHHHHH I NEED JESUS HELP!

    But for real, I'm going to hell whats up with that.

      Some good questions for a from a simple mind.
      We are commissioned to judge others

      Leviticus 19:15 Ye shall do no unrighteousness in judgment: thou shalt not respect the person of the poor, nor honor the person of the mighty: but in righteousness shalt thou judge thy neighbour.

      Psalm 37:30 The mouth of the righteous speaketh wisdom, and his tongue talketh of judgment.

      Proverbs 31:9 Open thy mouth, judge righteously, and plead the cause of the poor and needy.

      John 7:24 Judge not according to the appearance, but judge righteous judgment.

      1st Corinthians 5:12 For what have I to do to judge them also that are without? do not ye judge them that are within?
      1st Corinthians 5:13 But them that are without God judgeth. Therefore put away from among yourselves that wicked person.

      1st Corinthians 6:1 Dare any of you, having a matter against another, go to law before the unjust, and not before the saints?
      1st Corinthians 6:2 Do ye not know that the saints shall judge the world? and if the world shall be judged by you, are ye unworthy to judge the smallest matters?
      1st Corinthians 6:3 Know ye not that we shall judge angels? how much more things that pertain to this life?.
      1st Corinthians 6:4 If then ye have judgments of things pertaining to this life, set them to judge who are least esteemed in the church.
      1st Corinthians 6:5 I speak to your shame. Is it so, that there is not a wise man among you? no, not one that shall be able to judge between his brethren?
      1st Corinthians 6:6 But brother goeth to law with brother, and that before the unbelievers.
      (Notice in particular 6:5 where Paul urges us to Judge fellow "brethren" rather than leaving it up to civil authorities.)

      2nd Timothy 4:1 I charge thee therefore before God, and the Lord Jesus Christ, who shall judge the quick and the dead at his appearing and his kingdom;
      2nd Timothy 4:2 Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all longsuffering and doctrine.
      2nd Timothy 4:3 For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears;
      2nd Timothy 4:4 And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables.
      2nd Timothy 4:5 But watch thou in all things, endure afflictions, do the work of an evangelist, make full proof of thy ministry.
      All have sinned / we are all sinners

      Psalm 51:5 Behold, I was shapen in iniquity; and in sin did my mother conceive me.

      1st Kings 8:46 If they sin against thee, (for there is no man that sinneth not,) and thou be angry with them, and deliver them to the enemy, so that they carry them away captives unto the land of the enemy, far or near;

      2nd Chronicles 6:36 If they sin against thee, (for there is no man which sinneth not,) and thou be angry with them, and deliver them over before their enemies, and they carry them away captives unto a land far off or near;

      Proverbs 20:9 Who can say, I have made my heart clean, I am pure from my sin?

      Ecclesiastes 7:20 For there is not a just man upon earth, that doeth good, and sinneth not.

      Romans 3:10 As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one:

      Romans 3:23 For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;

      1st John 1:8 If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us.
      1st John 1:9 If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
      1st John 1:10 If we say that we have not sinned, we make him a liar, and his word is not in us.
      Once we are saved we are sin-free
      Psalm 119:1 ALEPH. Blessed are the undefiled in the way, who walk in the law of the LORD.
      Psalm 119:2 Blessed are they that keep his testimonies, and that seek him with the whole heart.
      Psalm 119:3 They also do no iniquity: they walk in his ways.

      1st John 1:7 But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin.

      Acts 22:16 And now why tarriest thou? arise, and be baptized, and wash away thy sins, calling on the name of the Lord.

      Romans 6:6 Knowing this, that our old man is crucified with him, that the body of sin might be destroyed, that henceforth we should not serve sin.
      Romans 6:7 For he that is dead is freed from sin.
      Romans 6:8 Now if we be dead with Christ, we believe that we shall also live with him:

      John 8:11 She said, No man, Lord. And Jesus said unto her, Neither do I condemn thee: go, and sin no more.
      (Jesus took the sin away from the sinner instead of casting the first stone)

      2 Corinthians 5:17 Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.

      Colossians 2:13 And you, being dead in your sins and the uncircumcision of your flesh, hath he quickened together with him, having forgiven you all trespasses;
      Colossians 2:14 Blotting out the handwriting of ordinances that was against us, which was contrary to us, and took it out of the way, nailing it to his cross;

      Revelation 1:5 And from Jesus Christ, who is the faithful witness, and the first begotten of the dead, and the prince of the kings of the earth. Unto him that loved us, and washed us from our sins in his own blood,

      So you can see, we are not racist at all. We are doing Gods work

      We Christians cannot sin. GLORY!

      1st John 3:6 Whosoever abideth in him sinneth not: whosoever sinneth hath not seen him, neither known him.
      1st John 3:7 Little children, let no man deceive you: he that doeth righteousness is righteous, even as he is righteous.
      1st John 3:8 He that committeth sin is of the devil; for the devil sinneth from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil.
      1st John 3:9 Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin; for his seed remaineth in him: and he cannot sin, because he is born of God.

      Romans 8:33 Who shall lay any thing to the charge of God's elect? It is God that justifieth

      Philippians 2:13 For it is God which worketh in you both to will and to do of his good pleasure.

      1st John 5:18 We know that whosoever is born of God sinneth not; but he that is begotten of God keepeth himself, and that wicked one toucheth him not.

      Isaiah 29:14 Therefore, behold, I will proceed to do a marvellous work among this people, even a marvellous work and a wonder: for the wisdom of their wise men shall perish, and the understanding of their prudent men shall be hid.

      Matthew 18:3 And said, Verily I say unto you, Except ye be converted, and become as little children, ye shall not enter into the kingdom of heaven.

      Luke 10:21 In that hour Jesus rejoiced in spirit, and said, I thank thee, O Father, Lord of heaven and earth, that thou hast hid these things from the wise and prudent, and hast revealed them unto babes: even so, Father; for so it seemed good in thy sight.

      John 11:7 What then? Israel hath not obtained that which he seeketh for; but the election hath obtained it, and the rest were blinded
      John 11:8 (According as it is written, God hath given them the spirit of slumber, eyes that they should not see, and ears that they should not hear unto this day.

      John 12:39 Therefore they could not believe, because that Esaias said again,
      John 12:40 He hath blinded their eyes, and hardened their heart; that they should not see with their eyes, nor understand with their heart, and be converted, and I should heal them.

      1st Corinthians 1:17 For Christ sent me not to baptize, but to preach the gospel: not with wisdom of words, lest the cross of Christ should be made of none effect.
      1st Corinthians 1:18 For the preaching of the cross is to them that perish foolishness; but unto us which are saved it is the power of God.
      1st Corinthians 1:19 For it is written, I will destroy the wisdom of the wise, and will bring to nothing the understanding of the prudent.
      1st Corinthians 1:20 Where is the wise? where is the scribe? where is the disputer of this world? hath not God made foolish the wisdom of this world?

      1st Corinthians 1:23 But we preach Christ crucified, unto the Jews a stumblingblock, and unto the Greeks foolishness;
      1st Corinthians 1:24 But unto them which are called, both Jews and Greeks, Christ the power of God, and the wisdom of God.
      1st Corinthians 1:25 Because the foolishness of God is wiser than men; and the weakness of God is stronger than men.
      1st Corinthians 1:26 For ye see your calling, brethren, how that not many wise men after the flesh, not many mighty, not many noble, are called:
      1st Corinthians 1:27 But God hath chosen the foolish things of the world to confound the wise; and God hath chosen the weak things of the world to confound the things which are mighty;

      1st Corinthians 2:14 But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.
      1st Corinthians 2:15 But he that is spiritual judgeth all things, yet he himself is judged of no man.

      1st Corinthians 3:18 Let no man deceive himself. If any man among you seemeth to be wise in this world, let him become a fool, that he may be wise.
      1st Corinthians 3:19 For the wisdom of this world is foolishness with God. For it is written, He taketh the wise in their own craftiness.
      1st Corinthians 3:20 And again, The Lord knoweth the thoughts of the wise, that they are vain.

      See how simple it is. You really need to back together with Jesus. Imagine how cool it would be to go bike riding with Him!
      Isaiah 45:7 I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the LORD do all these things.
      Amos 3:6 Shall a trumpet be blown in the city, and the people not be afraid? shall there be evil in a city, and the LORD hath not done it?
      Numbers 21:6 And the LORD sent fiery serpents among the people, and they bit the people; and much people of Israel died.
      Matthew 10:34 Think not that I am come to send peace on earth: I came not to send peace, but a sword.
      Matthew 10:35 For I am come to set a man at variance against his father, and the daughter against her mother, and the daughter in law against her mother in law.
      Matthew 10:36 And a man's foes shall be they of his own household.

        Is not that were the trash belongs?

          Because you don't believe in Jesus' temporary sacrifice.
          Christians are superior because we possess an understanding that unbelievers lack. It is through the Power of Jesus only the converted mind is able to understand what is going on in the world; what the Communists are really up to; what Satan's intentions are. Most unbelievers do not even believe in Satan and cannot understand his tactics.

            Dude, I've never done anything bad in my life, I just don't think any religion makes sense. Does that make me a bad person? It doesn't make sense. If everyone like you guys are going to Heaven and everyone like me is going to hell I think I'd much rather kick it with the Devil and a whole bunch of other people with open minds, have fun in heaven with murderers who repented their sins before they died...

              If you want to be tortured for all eternity, go ahead. I'm not going to stop you. Just know what you are getting into forever and ever.

              Luke 13:27-28 But he shall say, I tell you, I know you not whence ye are; depart from me, all ye workers of iniquity.
              There shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth, when ye shall see Abraham, and Isaac, and Jacob, and all the prophets, in the kingdom of God, and you yourselves thrust out.

                I guess there's no arguing with you guys. Also the Bible is not a factual text. Please don't quote it when trying to prove a point, nothing it says will change my mind. I've read the Bible along with other religious texts. I laughed most of the time while reading.

                  You know Zac, your comment remimds me about a comment I made 51 years ago about Brussel Sprouts. I was wrong, why can't you admit you were wrong? Have you even tried God?

                      Re: Hey, Someone help explain this to me please!

                      You want to help me? I've read so many outrageous things on this forum. I appreciate you trying to help me, but nothing you say will change my mind.

                      And yes when I was younger I was a Christian, but that's only because that's all I knew. Once I got older I understood more, and researched more. I don't think discrimination against anyone is correct. The Bible says otherwise.

                      I'm just disappointed that you guys can't accept other people beliefs, and especially that you guys dismiss science... Especially when a lot of it was developed by Christians.

                      I'm not to worried about "burning in hell". If there are people like me there who haven't done anything wrong then I'm cool with it.

                      But I don't believe in heaven in hell, so I'm not worried.

                        Zack, I read outrageous things in the paper every day. Yet I still try to help people. Tell me Zack, why has religion been around so long? If it were not valid, it would of died out long ago because (as you kids say) it is was just 'hooey'.
                        I accept many peoples beliefs. I am a strong believer in peoples rights to have an opinion. You see Zack, one of the many gifts God gave us was 'Free Will'. He enables you to make god and bad choices in life. I just do not want to see you making a bad choice.

                        Maybe this tidbit will help you:

                        1st Corinthians 1:23 But we preach Christ crucified, unto the Jews a stumblingblock, and unto the Greeks foolishness;
                        1st Corinthians 1:27 But God hath chosen the foolish things of the world to confound the wise; and God hath chosen the weak things of the world to confound the things which are mighty;

                          But your idea of helping people is converting them to your faith, which is wrong. Also, what about all the religions that were existent before the Christian religion? Does that make them right too? That ideology doesn't make sense.

                            Many assumptions about cognitive ability here.

                              Now Zack, no one is trying to convert anybody here. I am just being your friend. I want to save you from Hell.

                              (If you believe in Christ today and have eternal life, but lose it tomorrow, then it was never "eternal" at all. Duh!)
