Well, since I was asked to make an introduction, here it is. I'm a college student about to graduate this summer. I was saved a good while back, September 9, 2001. After having a Biblical discussion with a Christian friend, I came up to him and asked him what I must do to be saved. He showed me John 3 as many others would, and I prayed with him. To this day, I'm still thankful for what he did for me.

I'm a person who doesn't like to act close-minded. I like hearing every side of a conversation and would gladly debate with folks as long as unnecessary biased opinions aren't involved. I live in San Francisco, and despite the various cultures I've seen, I don't let deter my relationship with God.

I'm glad your friend showed you the whole third chapter of John, and not just the 16th verse. There are several false versions of Christianity that start by taking that one verse out of context and building a whole false doctrine around their misunderstanding. They play up God's love while downplaying or even hiding the need for repentance.

I'm not sure what you mean by "unnecessary biased opinions". I read and believed every Word of the King James Bible, and I strive to make God's opinions my own opinions.

You've probably heard this cliche before, but it is very true -- you can't be so open minded that your brains fall out. You can't give equal merit to every new idea that comes along. I will not open my mind to the idea that God's Word is not true.
