Look at Harry Potter, you don't think he teaches children Terrorism? Think again! In the Third book of the series Harry flies into a violent rage, and BLOWS UP his Aunt Marge. He actually blows her up! What kind of impression do you think that gives to innocent children? That it's OK to blow up family members?

As a follower of God, I would love to sit down and have a chat with an athiest, a Buddhist, etc. because it would prove interesting and knowledgable. You have to remember, religions such as Buddhism and Hinduism were here far longer than other religion.

Everyone needs to open their minds and be tolerant of others, and then that wouldn't happen.

You have to remember, religions such as Buddhism and Hinduism were here far longer than other religions. If all you do is judge others, you gain nothing, nothing except for more judgement on you, you're pushing people away.

That's a naive outlook, you must admit. Don't you know the power of stories to compel? There once was a disillusioned Austrian fellow who wrote a story about his life. It was called Mein Kampf, maybe you heard of it? Yea, it kind of changed people's thinking and history right along with it. Even completely fictional stories can transform the world. Look at the Qu'ran for instance. People strap bombs to their chest and walk over to the bus stop without ever having the intention of making it across town because a fictional story told them they have to kill infidels and will be rewarded with 72 virgins. Harry Potter is no different.

But people don't have to do that. That is their own choice. You can't blame an innocent story on all that, because it didn't HAVE to happen.

Tell me, what do you think of this Harry Potter book fad? Is it as popular and people make out?

My Pastor says anyone who reads it will be thrown to the very depths of the pits of Hell, no matter what age they are. Can you imagine some silly 8 year old child getting burned alive for just being stupid enough to reading a book? Personally I blame the parents for letting them. Letting a child read a Potter book should be classed as child-abuse. What are your opinions?

And the book fads? They're representative of people's taste in reading material. Personally, I think that it isn't the BOOK turning young girls into harlots, but the corporate minds who create sick disgusting toys and use J.K Rowling's work as a scapegoat. Sickening. I read Harry Potter, I'll admit, and I loved it. It was a wonderful story.
But here's the thing.
It's JUST A STORY.
People need to calm down and stop pointing fingers at the poor book. If anything, point fingers at the dollar. That's what's causing such sickening things to become, such as a "vibrating broom stick"? What sicko thinks of that?
