    G'Day from Oz

    Greetings to you all,

    My real name's Matt and I promise the title to my Intro is the last time I'll write in Australian.

    I found this site a number of years ago and have been receiving your e-newsletters regularly.

    I was born and baptised into the Catholic Church by my well-meaning but perhaps naive parents and spent the next twenty years being indoctrinated into that faith (but never sodomised by a priest - I was too ugly a child). It has taken just over that amount of time again (I'm 41) through personal study, reading your website and related ones to realise how I had been duped. It was only last Sunday that I saw the error of my ways and accepted the Lord JESUS as my one and only personal saviour; ironically this was the same day I quit drinking:

    Therefore, be ye not unwise, but understand what the will of the Lord is.And be not drunk with wine, wherein is excess; but be filled with the Spirit, speaking to one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody in your heart to the Lord, giving thanks always for all things unto God and the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, submitting yourselves one to another in the fear of God. (Ephesians 17-21)

    I have only downloaded version of a KJV 1611 and since learning of your bible-in-a-year will I shall endeavour to follow that.


    I hope I will be welcomed here as a repentant ex-Papist and look forward to vigorous and erudite discussion in my journey towards Salvation. Praise JESUS.
    Heresy is like a tree, its roots lie in the darkness whilst its leaves wave in the sun and to those who suspect nought, it has an attractive and pleasing appearance. Such is the nature of heresy, and this is why it is so hard to destroy, for it must be eradicated leaf, branch, trunk and root.     Welcome friend. I thank Christ to hear that you have repented of your papist ways. Good luck with your progress in studying the holy KJV Bible.

      GLORY! This Forum is Truly Blessed. Although I'm a lowly Belgiummer, I would like to welcome you too friend (or should I say "mate"?).

      (Trick question: do you own a Wii perhaps ? I hate to ask, but as we are inundated with wiitards lately, we have to stay vigilant)

        Thanks for the kind words of welcome; friend or mate is fine. I don't a Wii, just a PS3. Tithe donated.

        Now how do I go about crawling from my lowly forum status of "Unsaved trash"? I have looked for guidelines within the forum, but have not been able to find any.
