  • Greetings Fellow Believers

My name is Titus Caldwaller. The wife Stella and I attend the Second Baptist Church in Fort Stockton and have been members in good standing for some 30 years now. I run a spread of 200+ acres out near the state line growing wheat, corn and alfalfa grass, depending on the rain the Good Lord blesses us with any given year.

I found Jesus after many years of sin and debauchery with the milk cows and goats and, while such an act would never enter my mind today, it was understandable given the community I was raised in was Pentacostal. It was on my trip four counties over to find a doctor to treat a horrible groin infection that I met Stella through her father, Pastor Stickum.

Twelve years ago The Lord called us to minister to the local inebriates, derelicts, bums and other assorted trash in town. So we made an arrangement with the Sheriff and brought them out to the farm, gave them food and clothing and good honest work, as well daily Bible Study. This worked out quite well as we turned them to producing trinkets we then sold at our roadside tourist shop to support the war against the Devil Worshipping Baby Murderers down in Tulsa.

Unfortunately our labor force was depleted through attrition (the sinners were in bad health, we gave them proper funerals on the back forty) so we had to expand our recruiting efforts to the local truckstop with it's supply of hitchikers, degenerates and transient types. Things went along fine until the librul commie scum around the truck stop began spreading rumors we are running some kind of White Slavery ring here. Now the new Sheriff and them Federal types are poking around asking questions. One of our disgruntled employees even showed up at the police department with a chain he claimed we locked him to the barn wall with, which was obviously faked.

Stella and I know this is nothing but persecution by the Devil Worshippers, but the Lord has called us and we intend to follow His Word and continue our ministry. We are actively looking for another community to relocate to that has Rightious God Fearing values.

    Any assistance is muchly appreciated.

    Welcome, friend.

With all you've said, what would your favorite Bible verse be? At this point in your life?
But whosoever shall deny me before men,
him will I also deny before my Father which is in heaven.
    ~Matt. 10:33

Thank you for the welcome, friend.

I must say The Spirit brings to mind 2 Thessalonians 3:10 - "For even when we were with you, this we commanded you, that if any would not work, neither should he eat."

My most sincere apologies for failing to provide the appropriate KJV reference link, please forgive my stupidity. I will be sure to learn this technique and apply to all future posts.

Titus, you think just like me! I see the problem with your business plan. You need to be more forthcoming with law enforcement. Living in secrecy is a bad thing. You want to open your arms and welcome everyone. Next time you have a barbecue of fine Angus steaks and single malt, be sure to invite the local sheriff and prosecutor. Have door prizes, everyone gets a new Escalade or a college education for a child of their choice. Make them feel welcome.
Be neighborly. Back in the day, neighbors would pitch in and build a barn.Send some of the missionaries you are training over to their home. Mow their lawn, wash the car, put on that addition or dig that swimming pool.
Isaiah 45:7 I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the LORD do all these things.
Amos 3:6 Shall a trumpet be blown in the city, and the people not be afraid? shall there be evil in a city, and the LORD hath not done it?
Numbers 21:6 And the LORD sent fiery serpents among the people, and they bit the people; and much people of Israel died.
Matthew 10:34 Think not that I am come to send peace on earth: I came not to send peace, but a sword.
Matthew 10:35 For I am come to set a man at variance against his father, and the daughter against her mother, and the daughter in law against her mother in law.
Matthew 10:36 And a man's foes shall be they of his own household.

          Dear Mr. Hutchins,

What a joy to encounter such a fine example of an obedient servant of Christ! Your excellent suggestions are well-taken, sir. You are correct to note the we are, perhaps, an insular family here. It is, after all, some 60 miles to town and what with all the work needing to be done we don't quite get down to socialize as much as we'd like, except of course to attend service prompty, at 9 AM Sunday morning, without fail.

The problem, as I see it, is that the entire country has gone to communist rot; nobody wants to work for anything anymore. We have these elitists moving in trying to make us another suburb of Denver, or Sioux City, or Kansas City, and they are electing these Devil Worshipping Pagans to leadership positions.

I'm afraid they are just outnumbering us and no amount of kindness in the form of evil materialistic bribery will work to dissuade them anymore, although I could be wrong.

Stella and I have prayed on this troublesome issue in our closets (separately of course) for many years and we have almost come to believe that our once cherished land is just over-run with Pagans. Unless the Good Lord smites the commie librul politicians who have inundated our once Righteous land, we will have to move.
