    Hello, everybody!

I'm from Finland and my name's Yrjö Mauno Sprengtporten.

I've been in faith for only a while now, but I'm reading the Bible and I pray 5-6 times a day and I try to do everything like the Lord wishes me to do.

I'm really looking forward to getting to know you guys better.

    Re: Hello, everybody!

So you're a Christian from Finland, and yet you've taken the name of the Shinto sun goddess as your user name?
This church is dedicated to preaching True Christianity™ and the King James Bible exactly as they are, with no alterations to make them more politically correct for modern liberals. If you think that we've misquoted or twisted Scripture or quoted any verse out of context, please explain in detail how we've done so. Otherwise, if what you read on this site offends you, then you're offended by Almighty God and His Word, not by us.

Questions to ask liberal "Christians"Things that the Bible doesn't sayTolerance

      Re: Hello, everybody!

Oh, and I'm not a member of any congregation, because there aren't any true believers in my vicinity. I don't know what my favourite verse is in English, but it's something like "Shall the clay say to him that fashioneth it, what makest thou?"

I found Jesus through a severe injury and a nigh-miraculous recovery. Jesus said to me in a dream that I should find Him before it was too late.

Hi Joe, what do you know?

What is your favorite passage from the KJV?

Do you ever get sick of your diet in the middle east? Are you worried the Egyptians will over run your country? I worry about you.
Isaiah 45:7 I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the LORD do all these things.
Amos 3:6 Shall a trumpet be blown in the city, and the people not be afraid? shall there be evil in a city, and the LORD hath not done it?
Numbers 21:6 And the LORD sent fiery serpents among the people, and they bit the people; and much people of Israel died.
Matthew 10:34 Think not that I am come to send peace on earth: I came not to send peace, but a sword.
Matthew 10:35 For I am come to set a man at variance against his father, and the daughter against her mother, and the daughter in law against her mother in law.
Matthew 10:36 And a man's foes shall be they of his own household.

Welcome, but please do not take our Lord's name in vain, as it is serious sin. "Oh my God" is not used carelessly around here. And no swearing either.

Exodus 20:7 "Thou shalt not take the name of the LORD thy God in vain; for the LORD will not hold him guiltless that taketh his name in vain."

Do you hunt whales or fix boats in Finland? What filthy sin made you decide to give your life over to Jesus?

            In Christ
Matthew 19:14 "But Jesus said, Suffer little children, and forbid them not, to come unto me: for of such is the kingdom of heaven."

              Do you mean this verse?

16Surely your turning of things upside down shall be esteemed as the potter's clay: for shall the work say of him that made it, He made me not? or shall the thing framed say of him that framed it, He had no understanding?
              Isaiah 29:16 (King James Version)

I suppose your own copy of The Bible is in Finnish, so you can use this to look up the correct translation http://www.biblegateway.com/ Make sure to use only the King James version, as it is the only True Word of God.

Maybe one of the True Christian™ pastors here could change it, if you explain and ask politely. In the meantime, your first name is George in American, isn't it? We could just call you George until you get it sorted out
