I'm a young man working as a bartender in Texas. I had heard about your little corner of the web recently and have been reading over alot of stuff and decided to stay for a bit. I was raised in the church but have since gone a bit astray. I promise, I am not here to pick fights or try and convert anybody to anything. Further, I have read all the introductory posts and whatnot. I know what is expected of me.

Honestly, I have found alot of the material presented here quite refreshing. Especially the scripture quoted showing that God is not some all loveing hippy.

Anyway, just wanted to throw that out there...

I too welcome the chance to learn more about you, Barron. Texas, in my experience, is a nice place to visit. The Lord blessed that land with bountiful summer humidity and much crabgrass. Praise Him!

I must add that none of our congregation are "wannabe conformists"! We are WARRIORS for Christ, fighting the good fight against overwhelming odds in the battle for control of mankind's destiny!
