  • Ultima: ignoring the ultimatum from GOD

The child is you. The open manhole is hell. The man who stays silent is most Christians. And we at LBC are the men who yell out.

From what I've read it sounds kind of like you're the man calling the child stupid, queer, or ignorant for not seeing the hole.

I have a question for you, is it right to hate the sinner or is it right to hate the sin? They are two very different things and should be considered carefully in your responses to others.

    Dear Friend,

The worst sins are those which trick the sinner into thinking he is really exercising a virtue. Consider the sin of sexual deviance. Our society has gotten so off-track that instead of a man hiding his homosexuality, he will identify with it. He will say, not, "I am a man engaged in a homosexual lifestyle," but "I am a homosexual." For such persons, so deep in moral error, there is no way for us to attack the sin without the sinner feeling personally attacked. But if we don't attack the sin, if we stay in polite silence, the man will stay in its thrall to his eternal detriment. For his soul, this is a matter of life and death. For love of the man, we must be brave enough to liberate him from his bondage, even if so doing will initially draw his ire.

    Yours in Him,

So in essence, mocking homosexuals calling them fags, calling them queers and often times driving them to suicide is an appropriate method of 'Chrisitanizing' them? I fail to see how encouragement without the use of such hateful terms couldn't serve the same purpose.

        Dear Friend,

To break a bond, energy is required. The bondage of sin is no different. The anger that persons engaged in homosexuality feel when preached to can be directed out at Christians, or inward, as self-disgust, prompting them to make a painful change. Many, including your humble correspondent, have been saved from the sins of the same-sex flesh, by just such energetic ministries.

The thing is, the efforts of many people frequenting these forums seem to be directed to causing pain towards parties rather than encouraging them to change their ways.
In particular, I'm disgusted with Ezekiel. His constant racism and foolish assumptions aren't going to break the bondage of sin. He's constantly bashing people of Jewish descent despite the fact God made them Jewish. Unlike homosexuality, there is absolutely no way you can blame them for this. However, he still sits here under the so-called banner of Jesus Christ and preaches that they are dirt, that they 'Drink the blood of Christian babies'. Tell me how this encourages them to follow Jesus.
