    I Have A Problem.

I Can't Seem To Believe In God At All.
    Here Are The Reasons.

Let’s take the Christian God’s greatest act, creating the world and all who live on it (indirectly). The start of all this, on God’s own words: “For in six days the Lord made the heavens and the earth, the sea and all that is in them, and rested on the seventh day”. Using genealogy, we can roughly estimate the age of the earth, as stated by the Bible, to be 6500 years. The very top estimate would be close to 10,000 years, but that’s a stretch. Science has proven that the earth is closer to 4.5 billion years old. Radiometric dating has shown us this, and has remained consistent with lunar and terrestrial samples. In other words, we haven’t just tested this once in one situation, it’s been extensively tested. This isn’t a guess, or a hunch, there’s a substantial amount of evidence to back this up.

And that’s the geological age of the earth. What about the creatures on the earth? We, as human beings, were created 6500 years ago, according to the Bible, starting with Adam and then Eve. The oldest discovered human fossil is approximately 1,300,000 (1.3 million) years old. That would have meant that humans lived on earth before God created either humans or the earth. In fact, depending on how much evidence you consider to be acceptable, and how you define us as a species, you could place humans at between 1.8 million and 130,000 years old. No one could sensibly claim that humans are less than 130,000 years old. There is simply too much evidence available for our inspection. Either way, much older than the Bible’s claims.

Heres Some Other Questions I Have.

If god can do anything, then why won't he help all the people in need

if god is more powerful then the devil, then why can't he just kill him already and be done with that problem

how can the devil be an evil person, if he tortures the evil people in the world

How can god let little kids die

That's all wishy-washy, self-justifying atheist garbage. If you had read the 1611 version of the King James Bible you wouldn't be filled with such abominations.

Do you need a job? Are you good at crafting trinkets? Do you like the wide open prairie and fresh air? We have immediate openings for sinners needing to redeem themselves through good old-fashioned work.

      Re: I Have A Problem.

This is what you call an introduction??

Please tell us about yourself, and stop whining about Jesus. How old are you? What church do you attend?

God is as God does. He knows way more than you do, so you have no right to question His Wisdom.

Isaiah 55:8-9: For my thoughts [are] not your thoughts, neither [are] your ways my ways, saith the LORD. For [as] the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts.
      Who Will Jesus Damn?

Here is a partial list from just a few scripture verses:

Hypocrites (Matthew 24:51), The Unforgiving (Mark 11:26), Homosexuals (Romans 1:26, 27), Fornicators (Romans 1:29), The Wicked (Romans 1:29), The Covetous (Romans 1:29), The Malicious (Romans 1:29), The Envious (Romans 1:29), Murderers (Romans 1:29), The Deceitful (Romans 1:29), Backbiters (Romans 1:30), Haters of God (Romans 1:30), The Despiteful (Romans 1:30), The Proud (Romans 1:30), Boasters (Romans 1:30), Inventors of evil (Romans 1:30), Disobedient to parents (Romans 1:30), Covenant breakers (Romans 1:31), The Unmerciful (Romans 1:31), The Implacable (Romans 1:31), The Unrighteous (1Corinthians 6:9), Idolaters (1Corinthians 6:9), Adulterers (1Corinthians 6:9), The Effeminate (1Corinthians 6:9), Thieves (1Corinthians 6:10), Drunkards (1Corinthians 6:10), Reviler (1Corinthians 6:10), Extortioners (1Corinthians 6:10), The Fearful (Revelation 21:8), The Unbelieving (Revelation 21:8), The Abominable (Revelation 21:8), Whoremongers (Revelation 21:8), Sorcerers (Revelation 21:8), All Liars (Revelation 21:8)

You are just making up these numbers, right?

What's your next question going to be? How magnets work?

        Intelligent pulling.

The Bible shows us how old the earth is. Billions of people believe and know that.

        Who are you to disagree?

You read some book or wiki page? And that proves it to you?

Yes, you do have a problem. It's called "not being a Christian".

Jesus brought you here for a reason friend. Don't spoil the chance. 6000 years, or "billions" of years are NOTHING compared to the everlasting torment you will endure in hell.
        Psalm 81:10:
I am the LORD thy God, which brought thee out of the land of Egypt:
open thy mouth wide, and I will fill it.

Who are you to demand "why" of God?

            Proverbs 16:4
The LORD hath made all things for himself: yea, even the wicked for the day of evil.

            Isaiah 45:7
I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the LORD do all these things.

            Joshua 23:15
Therefore it shall come to pass, that as all good things are come upon you, which the LORD your God promised you; so shall the LORD bring upon you all evil things, until he have destroyed you from off this good land which the LORD your God hath given you.

            1 Samuel 16:14
But the Spirit of the LORD departed from Saul, and an evil spirit from the LORD troubled him.

            2 Samuel 12:11
Thus saith the LORD, Behold, I will raise up evil against thee out of thine own house, and I will take thy wives before thine eyes, and give them unto thy neighbour, and he shall lie with thy wives in the sight of this sun.

            1 Kings 9:9
And they shall answer, Because they forsook the LORD their God, who brought forth their fathers out of the land of Egypt, and have taken hold upon other gods, and have worshipped them, and served them: therefore hath the LORD brought upon them all this evil.

            2 Kings 22:16
Thus saith the LORD, Behold, I will bring evil upon this place, and upon the inhabitants thereof, even all the words of the book which the king of Judah hath read:

the riddle of Epicurus. In its first step, Epicurus states, "Is God willing to prevent evil, but not able? Then he is not omnipotent." This is a fairly easy one: God is either able to prevent evil, or not.

Would an all loving God create Hell?
Step two states "Is he able, but not willing? Then he is malevolent." This is, at least in my view, the weakest link because the God of the Bible and the Koran is, in my view, malevolent. Any God that would create Hell for those that refuse to embrace him is very malevolent. Yet, "God" as understood in the traditional context, is indeed seen as all-good,

God, not Satan, created evil. Who knew?
Step three of the riddle states, "Is he both able and willing? Then whence cometh evil?" Now, you are starting to get at the heart of religious doctrine. God should be both willing and able according to the religious claims, but evil still exists. Do not listen to believers who claim evil comes from Satan or human sin. God creates evil, according to scripture anyway. "I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the LORD do all these things." (Isaiah 45:7, KJV)

"Is he neither able nor willing? Then why call him God?"

You were told that if you read the book of Job (it's one of the short ones) you would find the answers you seek, you called one of our Brothers a "kike". You are a snot nosed little troll.
