My favourite verse is Psalm 137:9 because I like to murder infants. I came to find Jesus when a priest shoved his dick (and faith) down my throat. The church uses fear to gain followers. How can you justify hell when god offers unforgiving love?
How can you justify a flat earth when there is overwhelming evidence against that?
How can you say the Earth is only 6000 earth old when all evidence point towards the earth being much older? It seems as though you false God wanted you to not know that the earth is young, and if he is almighty, how did we know?

The old testament is riddled with sexism, yet you're concerned about that? I really, really think you should think your beliefs through again. I've read the Bible, I know what it contains. I would be willing to bet you cannot find a SINGLE signatory who stated in any writing that he was an atheist. A bunch were Deist, which means they believed in a god (though not a "personal god"), and they would be fighting to support the inclusion of Intelligent Design in today's science curricula.

Incidentally, nimrod, "atheist" is the antonym of "theist". Neither is a proper noun, and thus not capitalized.

It is always helpful to read the Old Testament so that we understand what is in the New Testament, and I suspect that you might have been taking God's word out of context a little bit, haven't you?

See how it starts to make sense once you've read the Old Testament passages? As it happens I am not married, but I do understand how a wife should regard her Husband, because God has told us. The Bible says:

2 While they behold your chaste conversation coupled with fear.

The Bible not only tells us that we must be AFRAID of our husbands, ASHAMED and kept in SUBJECTION, but explains what it is that has defiled us, how we thereby contaminate all humanity and why we are to maintain the shamefacedness and fear that is right and proper for us. Just think about all those people in Hell, millions upon millions of them, tormented forever and ever in a boiling lake of fire and brimstone. Brimstone boils at 832°F. All those people are there because of woman - remember I Timothy 2:14b ? “…the woman being deceived was in the transgression.”

I hope that makes it easier for you to understand God's Word, and that you will be able to read & learn more about His blessings brought to us in, and through, The Bible.

Now here is that Psalm you quoted from again, in its original context. It is a beautiful example of God's Perfect Love. PSALM 137
