  • Truls from Norway

    Hello, my name is Truls.
I am a 30 year old man from Norway.
Please excuse my english if I mispronounce something.

Most people in Norway strike me as agnostics by nature and I guess I have been one too, ignorant to God that is.

No friends/teachers/parent, no one ever told me much about God.
I have never really given much thought to God until recently.
It was when a friend of a friend brought me along to a nearby baptist church.

I have just been there a couple of times and I found your forum when looking for more information about baptism.

I really don't know any bible verses by heart (not yet), so can't really pick a favorite.

I feel like I have just stumbled upon this great big secret no one ever told me about.

Hope to learn a lot from you

Welcome Trolls! I am glad to see another of you eskimoes seeing the light and coming to Christianity.

How many sons has your seed yielded? A fertile wife is important.

Do you have a KJV Bible?
Isaiah 45:7 I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the LORD do all these things.
Amos 3:6 Shall a trumpet be blown in the city, and the people not be afraid? shall there be evil in a city, and the LORD hath not done it?
Numbers 21:6 And the LORD sent fiery serpents among the people, and they bit the people; and much people of Israel died.
Matthew 10:34 Think not that I am come to send peace on earth: I came not to send peace, but a sword.
Matthew 10:35 For I am come to set a man at variance against his father, and the daughter against her mother, and the daughter in law against her mother in law.
Matthew 10:36 And a man's foes shall be they of his own household.

Hello Truls! You need to get that nose of yours in the KJV and settle on a Bible verse, son. Here is one of my favorites:

"God thundereth marvellously with his voice; great things doeth he, which we cannot comprehend." (Job 37:5).

Think of the POWER of that single verse!

      YiC,

      The Vicar

P.S. I hope you have a reason for your country putting the cross sideways on its flag.
