  • Hi, my introduction

    Hi everyone

I love god, listen to his teachings, and try to learn from the too.

this is something i posted on another thread, to be totally honest with everyone, I was a little shocked at the way some behaved.

    Anyway, tjis is my opinion:

Hi, firstly I'd just like to say that I love and believe in god and everything that he has created, but surely he wouldn't want you speaking like this to one another.
God is the almighty being, he loves each and every one of us- after all, he created us the way we ARE.
Threatening others with eternal damnation of the soul, an eternity of burning in the flaming depths of hell, and any other misfortunes you may want to warn others of--- just think, would god really do this?- to his own children?
God himself did not write the bible, leaving room for flaws and errors of humans making ( something we are all prone to- mistakes, but from mistakes we learn)
Now what i see here is not love of our neighbours, not kindness to each other...
Promoting hatred in the name of god? Hatred of any kind seems a sin. it is so impure.
We should all try to fllow the example of Jesus, we could never equal god or jesus, but jesus DID live as a human.
Would he curse at another, just because of differing beliefs?
    .....

I'll shorten this a bit, so I guess what i'm trying to say that you are all beautiful people, here for a reason of gods own choice, and i know that it is not to impose hatred onto others.

And before you reply to this with a negative comment, just think about whether that's what jesus would have done. we should all look up to and respect him and his ways.
Remember this, that you were taught when young-
    Love thy neighbour
    Love thy god
    Love thy self

    I wish everyone here a lovely 2008
    John 15:12-13
My command is this: Love each other as I have loved you. Greater love has no one than this, that he lay down his life for his friends

Well Jesus came in human form but he was still God, yes he had a physical body but he never did sin.

        John 15:12-13

People show no hatred towards me, as I show no hatred towards anyone else.
I find the world is a better place if you can learn to love everyone for who they are.

              Re: Hi, my introduction

In total honesty, I don't believe homosexuality is a sin. Now i know many on here would instantly want me banned for saying that, but I have known a couple of gays who are christian and hate themselves because of how god made them.
BUT, they are some of the loveliest people I know.
I am not going to tell them they will burn in hell, I believe god will forgive them if they have honestly tried to change but could not, they cop it bad enough from everyone else as it is.
I was also told in church as a child " if you have nothing nice to say, don't say anthing at all", something like that.
I love everyone how they are, exactly as god made them.

Well, in general, I would prefer a gay to stay gay, than marry and have children with a woman he does not love. I believe marriage without love is a worse sin.

But nonetheless, I respect your beliefs

So, now we have it confirmed that you are not only a false Christian, you are a fag lover as well. In DIRECT DEFIANCE of God's Holy Word!

You see, homers (those "without natural affection") and their supporters (those "that have pleasure in them") are "worthy of death." Romans 1:31-32

Romans 1:31 Without understanding, covenantbreakers, without natural affection, implacable, unmerciful: 1:32 Who knowing the judgment of God, that they which commit such things are worthy of death, not only do the same, but have pleasure in them that do them.

God is quite clear about His feelings on the subject of queers. He doesn't beat around the bush at all. You support sodomites, then He treats you the same way He treats them.

                    Lev.18:22
Thou shalt not lie with mankind, as with womankind: it is abomination.

                    Lev.20:13
If a man also lie with mankind, as he lieth with a woman, both of them have committed an abomination: they shall surely be put to death; their blood shall be upon them.

But YOU don't believe that being queer is a sin. YOU know more than God, right?

We don't ban fools or fag hags for rejecting Christ. You don't need to worry about us. But once God gets ahold of you....well, I guess Jesus and I will have a good laugh as we listen to your agonizing screams from hell. Forever. Praise Jesus.
                    Who Will Jesus Damn?

Here is a partial list from just a few scripture verses:

Oh, right. So when it says that God is great, and Jesus is the Son of God, and that God loves us, that was all just made up by delinquent 14-year-olds for poops and giggles, is that what you're saying? I think I'll stick with the literal truth of the Bible, thank you very much.
Now what i see here is not love of our neighbours, not kindness to each other...

Read Matthew 23. Practically the entire chapter is just Jesus cursing at others because of differing beliefs. Oh, I forgot, you don't read the Bible, you just rely on the Book of Mormon and Al-Jazeera for your information about God.

And how exactly do you manage to square that belief of yours with the plain Biblical fact that homosexuality IS a sin? You make less sense than a negro hopped up on gorilla biscuits!

What about Catholic Priests? If they honestly try to stop raping little boys, but can't, is God cool with that as well?
I was also told in church as a child " if you have nothing nice to say, don't say anthing at all", something like that.
Are you sure you weren't just told "if you're female, don't say anything at all"? Because that'd be a lot more Biblically correct.
1 Corinthians 14:34 Let your women keep silence in the churches: for it is not permitted unto them to speak; but they are commanded to be under obedience as also saith the law.
I love everyone how they are, exactly as god made them.
Really? Everyone? What about Osama Bin Laden? What about Kim Jong-Ill? What about Kate McCann? What about 50 Cent? What about the Pope, or that lady who put her baby in a microwave, or John Edwards? Lady, you sicken me.
Well, in general, I would prefer a gay to stay gay, than marry and have children with a woman he does not love. I believe marriage without love is a worse sin.
Woah! You want fags to go to hell? That's pretty hateful. Where does it say in the Bible that marriage without love is a worse sin than the abomination of sodomy? Because, you know, I could say that wearing offensive hats is a worse sin than raping dogs, but that wouldn't make that true either.
O Lord our God, help us to tear their soldiers to bloody shreds with our shells; help us to cover their smiling fields with the pale forms of their patriot dead; help us to drown the thunder of the guns with the shrieks of their wounded, writhing in pain; help us to lay waste their humble homes with a hurricane of fire; help us to wring the hearts of their unoffending widows with unavailing grief; help us to turn them out roofless with little children to wander unfriended the wastes of their desolated land in rags and hunger and thirst, sports of the sun flames of summer and the icy winds of winter, broken in spirit, worn with travail, imploring Thee for the refuge of the grave and denied it--for our sakes who adore Thee, Lord, blast their hopes, blight their lives, protract their bitter pilgrimage, make heavy their steps, water their way with their tears, stain the white snow with the blood of their wounded feet! We ask it, in the spirit of love, of Him Who is the Source of Love, and Who is the ever-faithful refuge and friend of all that are sore beset and seek His aid with humble and contrite hearts. Amen.

God being truth, justice, goodness, beauty, power, and life, man is falsehood, iniquity, evil, ugliness, impotence, and death. God being master, man is the slave. Incapable of finding justice, truth, and eternal life by his own effort, he can attain them only through a divine revelation... he who desires to worship God must harbor no childish illusions about the matter, but bravely renounce his liberty and humanity.

you know as I sit here contemplatively looking out the window, your comment about homosexuality not being a sin comes to mind. I think "well gosh darn it! Why didn't you write the Bible instead?"
I mean you have already shown you know more about it than God and you must be a better all around person than God. Nicer too if you like them queers.

How can you possibly know how much you hurt the heart of God when you make comments like that? How can you just sit there and trash two thousand or more years of retribution and stonings and rebukes?

You make Jesus weep when you tell us you are better and more tolerant than God our Almighty Father and General in Heaven.
You think I am joking but look at your comments...
"Lo I am better than God for I forsake what He considers to be sin....I embrace it and remove it from the laws"
