    Runaway Looking For Friends

    Hey everyone, I'm Dreamer.
    I'm 16, and I know I'm too young to be here, but I have been reading the threads on this site for a while now, and I agree with you guys completely.
    I am a runaway, I have been for about 3 years now, so I'm never in the same town for more then a week, which means I don't go to any specific church, just whatever Baptist church is nearby.
    I ran away 3 years ago, with $300, my sleeping bag and my KJV. I left because my parents didn't support me when I accepted Jesus Christ as my Savior.
    I think the entire Bible is beautiful and I can't choose a favorite verse.

      You've been a runaway since the age of 13?

      Don't you know that the Holy Bible commands you to obey your parents? In fact, God commands that unruly children like you be put to death.


      If a man have a stubborn and rebellious son, which will not obey the voice of his father, or the voice of his mother, and that, when they have chastened him, will not hearken unto them: Then shall his father and his mother lay hold on him, and bring him out unto the elders of his city, and unto the gate of his place; And they shall say unto the elders of his city, This our son is stubborn and rebellious, he will not obey our voice; he is a glutton, and a drunkard. And all the men of his city shall stone him with stones, that he die: so shalt thou put evil away from among you; and all Israel shall hear, and fear. -- Deuteronomy 21:18-21

      He that smiteth his father, or his mother, shall be surely put to death. -- Exodus 21:15

      He that curseth his father, or his mother, shall surely be put to death. -- Exodus 21:17

          I know..

          But my parents refused to let me go to church, or read the Bible, or even mention Jesus. I had to get out of there.

              The Bible says what it says. God doesn't say "obey your parents IF" He says OBEY YOUR PARENTS. I don't care if they're crackheads.
