Pastor Ezekiel has been exposed to a number of Aussies, many of whom claimed to be Christian. Frequently, they turned out to be furries.

Naturally, after a few such unpleasant surprises, he's become rather skeptical.

But perhaps you really have some of the love of Jesus in you, even though you do have that new-agey "God is all about love" thing going. One who knows the Bible knows better; the Lord does create good, but also evil. He brings peace, but also wars. In fact, He even commands genocide (see Numbers 31 for an example).

We see many people who only listen to the "happy" parts of the Bible, and ignore the parts that make them uncomfortable. They try to force God to conform to what THEY think He should be.

People don't get to remake God in their image, Love. The clay does not get to remake the potter.

God will cast all of those who ignore His Word into eternal torture. We don't want that to happen to you!

Ok, well i'm definately not a furrie, if that is what you were concerned about. I don't even watch TV.

If it seems I'm all new-agey I guess it's because I like to think of god as something good.

Not watching TV and not being a furry are good things.

But wouldn't it be better to think of God as He IS, rather than imagining yourself straight into Hell by pretending He is something He's NOT?

That's a bit harsh on your dog. I don't think Barney II actually goes out of his way to offend and outrage God, whereas plenty of the psuedo-"Christians" we get here would happily clamber over a pile of Bibles to piss in Jesus' eye.

please, understand the part of the bible where it speaks of loving your neighbour, being kind, everything I mentioned initially in the post, did you not read that, or the sections all throughout the bible where it says that.

What sections? Where are we commanded to be kind to unsaved scum?
