I've never been baptized. Is it too late?

I'm 35 years old and wasn't baptized as a baby. Is it too late to get it done? I would think it would mean more to an adult than it would to an infant who really doesn't know what's going on, if you know what I mean. Thanks!

How do you know you weren't baptized as a baby? Do you remember the first few days of your life?

I'm not a fan of the pope. I will change it. My bad. My parents told me I wasn't baptised because they wanted me to grow up and make certain decisions on my own. I appreciate your opinions. I'm just trying to seek some certain truths in my life. Thanks

I'm sure your parents were lying to you.

(Proverbs 19:9) "A false witness shall not be unpunished, and he that
        speaketh lies shall perish."

Friendly advice: I suggest you read that twice.

Friend, I got the feeling that you think we are cathlicks.

I can assure you we are not.

We do not baptize babies. We accept the Lord and get washed in Jesus' blood only when we are ready to understand what a blessing it really is.

So no, it is not too late. You have to Repent. Hurry up, because Jesus can dropkick you to Hell any minute now.

Start reading the KJV, Repent, and get Saved(R). (prices on demand)
          Psalm 81:10:
I am the LORD thy God, which brought thee out of the land of Egypt:
open thy mouth wide, and I will fill it.

No, I didn't think you were catholics. Not too fond of them. I always was told that if a Baptist child wasn't Baptized, that they were doomed. Thanks for your answer, it made me feel better.

Re: I've never been baptized. Is it too late?

All children are doomed. They have to repent for being born of sin and of their childish ways. Once a person is old enough to understand how they have shamed God, then and only then, can the be Baptized.

After reading all the BS in all your threads, I can tell you have many years worth of repenting before God will forgive you. But I do, because I care about your soul.
Isaiah 45:7 I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the LORD do all these things.
Amos 3:6 Shall a trumpet be blown in the city, and the people not be afraid? shall there be evil in a city, and the LORD hath not done it?
Numbers 21:6 And the LORD sent fiery serpents among the people, and they bit the people; and much people of Israel died.
Matthew 10:34 Think not that I am come to send peace on earth: I came not to send peace, but a sword.
Matthew 10:35 For I am come to set a man at variance against his father, and the daughter against her mother, and the daughter in law against her mother in law.
Matthew 10:36 And a man's foes shall be they of his own household.

What does the little shaking fist mean by all your icons. When I put the mouse on it, it says "Tell her once." What does that represent? Thanks.

Isn't your dislike for Jesus a more pressing matter?

I would recommend that you seek first the Kingdom of God in your life. Prepare your heart and life to seek the Lord. If you are chosen, Jesus will make sure you know what to do. Many are called but few are chosen.
