Thanks for the tip. With my friend's help I was able to download the setup file from there (actually it was quite simple) but now a new problem arose: It says "The Windows Update: Internet Explorer and Internet Tools cannot be installed on this computer. This product does not install on 64-bit platforms."

It won't proceed here on... What to do now?

Yes it does say Mozilla Firefox on the top bar! How do I upgrade to internet explorer? I have a more computer oriented friend coming by quite soon this afternoon, what should I tell him to do ???

He/she sure got my attention! One day I was surfing the internet and ended up browsing videos in a place called the YouTube and there were alot of pictures that had women with VERY loose clothing!
This wasn't the first time it happened, last time I just ripped the power cord off the wall. I dont want to go to hell or poke my eyes just for browsing the internet (yes, I have read the Bible).

What should I do? Does changing my browser make any difference? How can I find out what browser I'm using? This one has a theme...

It's good that some people understand my worry for them!

You can't imagine how many times I've caught my son watching videos on that disgusting site. He tries to explain himself with things like; "My friends uploaded videos from their parties". Do you know how many times I had to beat him for that? I can't let him near people like that.

But anyways, back to your problem. Changing internet browsers does help. If your browser has a theme, you're most likely using Firefox. Truly one of the worst of the bunch. Did you know that you can get addons for it that download videos from YouTube right to your computer? I believe I don't even have to tell you how bad that is. You should definitely change your browser to Internet Explorer 6. It doesn't have any addons that download disgusting videos.

I don't understand brother? I asked a legitimate question which most people don't pay attention to! Who knows what our children might do with unprotected and bloated internet browsers! I ask of people to understand my point of view.

Greetings brothers! I'm more than glad to have found this forum; it's perfect in every form and it glows with the warmth of our saviour.
But more about me. I'm a 32 year old student(yes I know) about to get my Vocational Qualification in Business Information Technology (hopefully!). I have many caring friends who love my hobbies and truly cherish our friendship.
As you might have guessed, I'm a real tech-geek. I know things that most people don't (ask me ANYTHING about power supplies or browsers), and that's one of the reasons I have so many friends. They just crave for knowledge that I offer.

From here on, my words may be complete gibberish to some of you, but those of you who know what I'm talking about, please comment and discuss.
I've been using Internet Explorer for so many years I've actually lost count. The reason why I'm talking about Internet Explorer, is because it endorses my (and my familys) christian behaviour. Want to know how? For example, despite teaching my 14 year old son that internet pornography
will send you to hell, he refuses to believe me. No matter how many times I beat him, he just doesn't listen to me. But the fact that all my home computers (and many public libraries and schools) use the glorious Internet Explorer 6, means that people can't view internet pornography! The browser is so fast and sturdy built, that it actually blocks pornography by default! Now who wouldn't like that?

I beg of you brothers to switch from blasphemous browsers like Firefox and Opera, to a better functioning, almost-omnipotent Internet Explorer 6, which does not only block internet pornography from young ones, but doesn't allow them to sink to the grimy world of the Internet by closing itself for no apparent reason every now and then! With other internet browsers you'd need to buy an addon for something like that.

If you still don't believe me, blame yourself for letting your offspring grow up to be criminals and drug addicts! Maybe they'll even marry a crack-negro from the streets! Who knows!

To ensure I get to know everyone of you, I ask you this; What internet browser do you use, and why?
