it means she comes before all others! except God! the same goes for the wife her husband comes before all others except god...

Now I'm confused. Who comes first, the husband or wife? I mean, okay, God comes first. Then someone has to come next, is it the husband or wife should the come together equally after God? With "all others", how many people are we talking about here? Are they all coming, or is it just God and the spouses?

No that would never work haha.. ok let me straighten one thing out i didnt mean it to the point where one serves the other when you put your wife on a pedestal it means she comes before all others! except God! the same goes for the wife her husband comes before all others except god... sorry didnt mean to make it sound like the woman was better..

excuse you i believe in the bible it tells man to put his wife on a pedestal i dont know what kind of crap these people here read but i dont get my info from the internet i get it straight from the bible that is in my hand! you are not better than me and i am not better than you. my mother cooked and cleaned and took care of my father in return he put her on a pedestal and never slapped or hit her!!

Finally, some scripture even if it is from some abomination of a translation. Don't be bitter against them. Nowhere does it say to, "put them on a pedestal."

I highly doubt you will defend the portion about slaves obeying their masters as vehemently, though.

Women are property, according to the Bible. In this parable, Jesus shows how a man's wife and children can be sold off to pay a debt.

Matthew 18:25 But forasmuch as he had not to pay, his lord commanded him to be sold, and his wife, and children, and all that he had, and payment to be made.

Clearly someone is at fault here. We abide strictly by the Bible. Since the Bible has no contradictions I strongly suggest that you take a look at your misguided reading of the Word Of God and offer yourself up to teachings of True Christians(tm) who actually understand the Bible.

i am not a person who hate i simple speak the truth. i love how you can give me infractions for me speaking my mind and the truth. i see plenty of people on here twisting the bible but if i sit here and try and argue with you its just as good ass arguing with a brick wall! i bet these are the type of people who protest at soldiers funerals! it makes me sick! ill just keep pray that atleast one person who reads this opens there eyes and hearts to the truth
