I hate to be disagreeable, but nowhere does that verse mention concubines.

The old kings had many wives and concubines. But then Paul says don't do it. I'm confused about Old covenant vs. New covenant. Is there some rule I'm not aware of so I can know when to follow the Old Testament and when not to? If I'm really not supposed to tell my husband that he can have a concubine then I will repent.
