    Re: Physics Rules

I am appalled at the lack of love displayed by you so-called "true christians". I just read that part of Highway 1 in California fell into the ocean. You psycho nuts would probably claim it was the wrath of god. I claim it was simple physics. Too much water and loose soil caused it to happen. I am so smart I could beat you guys with half my brain tied behind my back! I still contend that maybe you folks need to be taking some medications to stabilize your brains from this line of irrational thinking. ECT is also an option for those of you with severe OCD.

I'm still waiting for your evidence that this so-called god of yours exists. I haven't seen him today. Where is he? Didn't one of you goons summon him to appear this morning?

This other guy on your website "bobtheatheistphd" seems to be the only other person with any common sense.

Sounds rather cold hearted Rev. I thought you folks were supposed to love us sinners. It supports my view that there is no real morality. Love and compassion are nothing but artificial constructs that humanity has produced to make ourselves feel better about a competitive world where the most fit win and survive. That is the true reality that science teaches. From the tenure of your post I think we really are in agreement on this. If I saw true "unconditional" love coming from you (isn't that what you call it - unconditional?) then I might be inclined to think there is some evidence for a god but your cold assessment of me tells me that we are basically of the same belief system. Bravo!

First off, congrats on the handsome photo you've posted.

Second: you ask for verification of God. OK, let me make this plain for you.

Let's consider Genesis 1:1-31 as our "proofs" hmm?

I'm not going to post the whole text here, but it should be pretty easy to verify for someone as brilliant as you. Of course not every thing mentioned in those verses can be confirmed by me at this point in time (i.e., the sun is not visible at the moment).

I live in Florida and it's nighttime, but even given those restrictions I can confirm:

    - there is an earth (I went outside and STOOD on it!)

    - it's dark

    - I can see grass (St. Augustine) and herbs (Rosemary) and fruit-bearing trees (orange, mango, grapefruit)

    - I see stars

    - I see the moon

    - there is an ibis hunting lizards in the hedge

    - my wife is sleeping in the next room

It's so simple even a Physicist could understand it!

    YiC,

    Z. Smyth

Who said anything about "gay". As an atheist I certainly see the evolutionary problems with homosexuality (it should have been eliminated from the gene pool after all these millions of years since homosexuals cannot breed with each other and pass on their genes). I admit this is a problem for evolutionists but I am confident we will solve it in short order, but I pontificate.

I myself am not gay, not that I see anything wrong with it. I really could not care less who is and who is not gay but I am baffled as to where that comment came from. It seems to be out of the blue.

Aren't you interested in evangelizing us. If we go away then you will nto have your shot at us.

This is a very powerful prayer against witchcraft. This prayer can shut down witches and satanists forever. Being that this prayer basically shuts down the senders of the hexes and vexes by returning their evil to them sevenfold. I hurl it at you nownownow in Christ's name!

    Father,
In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, I plead the precious uncorruptable blood of Jesus over myself and my church and everything that belongs to us. I ask for giant warrior Angels to be loosed from Heaven to surround and protect us. As your war club and weapons of war I break down, undamn, and blow up all walls of protection around all witches, warlocks, wizards, satanists, and the like, and I break the power of all curses, hexes, vexes, spells, charms, fetishes, physic prayers, physic thought, all witchcraft, sorcery, magic, voodoo, all mind control, jinxes, potions, bewitchments, death, destruction, sickness, pain, torment, physic power, physic warfare, prayer chains, and everything else being sent my way or my family members way, and I return it and the demons to the senders right now!, SEVENFOLD, and I BIND it to them by the Blood of Jesus!

Father, I pray that these lost souls will find the light of your son Jesus.. Their own snares and traps have been set against themselves.. In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth I now loose them from all mindcontrol of satan!.. Father I also ask that you Bind the Holy Spirit to there hearts as a guide to your son Jesus.. So they may be set free from the bondages of satan.

    In Jesus name I pray..
    Amen

So cool breezes, rain storms, red pandas, jack-o-lanterns, George Bush and pretty much anything else doesn't exist because I can't summon them at will? Your "rational" thinking is... different. Do you happen to attend a special school where students wear over mitts and helmets for their own protection?

    Ahem,

"And what exactly is the scientific evidence for the existence of science? Surely, you do not subscribe to circular logic?"

A real christian should be able to convert a scientific sinner like me right? I preach the word of physics which will never let you down. It always has been and always will be forever and ever, amen!

Praise be to the big bang!
Why don't all you religious fundamentalists give supergeek a break? He is clearly a fellow atheist and although I would disagree that physics is the only true religion (I would say all scientific disciplines are the true religion, not only physics) I think you are all closer than you think to his point of view. After all he does believe in the big bang, or at least I presume he does from this post. I for one doubt it because at it's core the big bang theory is a propoganda tool of the religious right. Why you may ask? Because it demands a beginning for the universe and a creator! I prefer the tried and true steady state theory myself. I do think supergeek's heart is the right place, I feel he needs to review his belief in the big bang - way too "creationist". I'm sure though by reviewing supergeek's posts that he does not understand the implications of his view on this.

Supergeek, would you accept my mentoring? I think I can be of help to you.

Are you still here, little boy?

    Mark 6:11

And whosoever shall not receive you, nor hear you, when ye depart thence, shake off the dust under your feet for a testimony against them. Verily I say unto you, It shall be more tolerable for Sodom and Gomorrha in the day of judgment, than for that city.

Nope. God converts whom He will, and hardens the hearts of those whom He will.

Methinks you are ordained from the beginning to spend eternity in His Lake of Fire.
