  • Greetings

    Hello all,
I got a Facebook link to your forum and I registered in order to post a reply to the Moomins topic. I don't belong to any church at the moment but I respect the Bible. I'm a upper secondary/high school student and my aim is to study biology at the university level. I don't believe in the theory of evolution and I've got to make the line between practical genetic evolution and the theoretic evolution. Believe me, that's not easy! The biology books are full of fairy tales, so called 'ape romaticism', and the line makeing between facts and theory is very difficult.

I'm not here to judge anybody for their beliefs and I expect the same. I'm just a sinful human being and I don't harm anybody.

I wish you all the best!

    Yours,
    "Fudge"

All evolution is false. What's the difference between theoretical evolution and practical evolution?

    Neither exist.

If you don't believe in evolution, why do you want to study "biology"? That would be like someone who didn't believe in radio wanting to study mobile phones: were these invented in Finland by-the-way? - except mobile phones exist, and evolution doesn't.

What is your favourite Bible verse?

I am reading Judges at the moment. It is a beautiful example of God's Perfect Love.

        Orly?

"Martin Cooper, a Motorola researcher and executive is considered to be the inventor of the first practical mobile phone for handheld use in a non-vehicle setting, after a long race against Bell Labs for the first portable mobile phone. Using a modern, if somewhat heavy portable handset, Cooper made the first call on a handheld mobile phone on April 3, 1973 to his rival, Dr. Joel S. Engel of Bell Labs.[7]"

I'm sure Finland's a nice place and all, but please stop lying. It makes you look bad.

Yeah, because Motorola is so clearly an American word.

If you're going to spew Godl-ess falsehood, try not to make it so transparently wrong. You can keep your real facts, the Truth, straight from God's Mouth through scripture to my unworthy ear is the only Truth that matters.

Thanks for that information; I had heard various rumours but wasn't sure - although I knew that millionaires could set up private radio networks for in-car telephones ages ago (Hollywood studios, oil tycoons etc.).

Umm...accusing Didymus of godlessness might not be the most effective approach.
