    Greetings

    Hello fellow Christians.

Long time reader, first time poster here. My name is Johan Innocent. I'm originally from heathen Sweden but now I live in southern China where I work at a private school as an English teacher.

I never physically go to church! Not because I'm paralyzed or lazy, but because in Sweden (and China) there are no real Christians. Only gay-marriage-Jesus-hating-Lutherans are to be found.
So I get my daily dose o' Jesus online at this glorious website!

My favorite Bible verse is Leviticus 20:13:

"If a man also lie with mankind, as he lieth with a woman, both of them have committed an abomination: they shall surely be put to death; their blood shall be upon them."

    Sincerely,

    Johan Innocent

Do you think it applies to women also? How do you square that with Luke 17:34-35

        Re: Greetings

Just want to say välkommen Mr. Innocent. Glad to hear that you are also teaching the great language of American to those less fortunate. (I teach it in, among other places, your country of origin.) I also wanted to say that I enjoy the irony of your sinful God-mocking Christ-substitute avatar. (We all know who most Swedes think is most important on Christmas.) Good on you and God bless.
Daniel 5:16-18 "Let thy gifts be to thyself, and give thy rewards to another; yet I will read the writing unto the king, and make known to him the interpretation."

          Re: Greetings

I was thinking about being an English Teacher in China. I can talk and write English pretty good.

Can you tell me how you got this job of yours? Do they pay your way to China? Boarding? Pay? etc?

Some people in my area have been threatening me and maybe now is the time to start looking for a job that requires book learning, good communications skills and all that other stuff teachers know how to do.

Also, I thought the Chy-Comms (that what Rush Limbau calls them) didn't like the Whites and don't trusts them.

Thank you! You know what they say. Read the KJV 1611 to a man and he will hear it once. Teach a man to read and he will hear it for the rest of his life.

Good to hear that irony is appreciated. I was afraid that it might be a bit over the top.

I got the job through internet. If you do a google search you will find quite a lot of ads. Most require you to have a TEFL or TESL (Teach English as a Foreign/Second Language) certificate though. Aswell as atleast 2 years of teaching experience.

They don't pay your way to China at all. You will have to pay all the fees yourself. But that is the last thing you need to pay for. My employer pays for all my costs of living: Food, housing, water, electricity, internet etc.

The Chy-Comms are actually very friendly. They are polite and well behaved! I get standing ovations when I walk into a classroom AND I get gifts/bribes on a regular basis.
