Hello from the Ridgetop of Eastern Tennessee

OK so since I'm suppose to put an introduction here, I will do just that.

I am a disabled construction worker. I do not consider myself a freeloader or a drain on community resources. I live life everyday and have the love of the Lord above to pull me through.

It is sometimes hard being alone and having so few close friends. Sure there are people in my life that I love, honor and respect -- but none of them are really close to me. I long for a true friendship with God at the center.

A couple days ago, for example, I was in town to pick up one of my prescriptions. I very nice woman greeted me on the street and gave me some literature. She smiled at me in a way few other people do. And I put the materials in my fanny pack to review later.

Now that I have read it, I am more confused than ever. You see, this wonderful news came from a Jehovah's Witness. My pastor, who is getting very old and is quite set in his ways, tells me that the information is hogwash. But all I see is great words and reassuring teachings.

Why should we care if this news comes from this source? I do know that they don't quote King James, but it sounds very interesting nevertheless.

Why can't we just take the word of God without regard to whether he is called Jehovah, Yahwey, God, etc? If the words ring true, what's the difference?

Yes and no. Yes, I can dance, but no, I've not heard of buck dancing.

(Watches You Tube video of buck dancing)

It looks easy and fun. I will look around for a Baptist church that offers this as a Singles Adult Fellowship Activity. I hope my feet can stand the commotion! Hope I can find a woman who will teach me a few steps!

Welcome friend! I live just up the road from you on 29.

Jewhoover witnesses are the devils henchmen. But that paper they gave you, and become washed with His blood.
Isaiah 45:7 I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the LORD do all these things.
Amos 3:6 Shall a trumpet be blown in the city, and the people not be afraid? shall there be evil in a city, and the LORD hath not done it?
Numbers 21:6 And the LORD sent fiery serpents among the people, and they bit the people; and much people of Israel died.
Matthew 10:34 Think not that I am come to send peace on earth: I came not to send peace, but a sword.
Matthew 10:35 For I am come to set a man at variance against his father, and the daughter against her mother, and the daughter in law against her mother in law.
Matthew 10:36 And a man's foes shall be they of his own household.

But the JW Watchtower publication they gave me said all sorts of good things about Jesus and God and the Good Book. There for I wonder if you have your facts straight.

            Just saying...no offense intended.

The videotape up above describes JW as a cult, but the lady I talked with was very nice and didn't bother me a bit once I took her papers and said "thank you." She gave me a big smile and then went on walking and talking to other people.

I'm not saying she was hot, because I do not look at women that way. I look at them to see if they are strong enough to carry my babies.

Our "facts" come straight from the Bible, friend, which came straight from God's Mouth. Still have a question about our "facts" ???

The Book of Mormon was written by a circus huckster who was later righteously dispatched to The Lake of Eternal Fire by a mob for being such a lying heathen (look it up).

Amazing how often that is used when people are obviously intent on being offensive.

                Tread carefully:

(2 Corinthians 11:14) "And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light."

There's a reason these cults brainwash attractive young men and women to go out and try to lasso more people into Hell. You almost got hog-tied, friend!

                Yours in Christ,

Ohhhh. How I say this friend..? Look, I am ex-Jehova's Witness and I left cos of their hypocrisy and intolerances, don't get me wrong, they is nice poelple realy, but the problem is they are (like I were) indoctrinete and the hierarcky is very severe - my parents are still JW and are having a hell time cos I left whit some of my sisters cos of this hypocrisy.

I'm no say is all bad - a LOT of the doctrines is the SAME as BAPTISTS doctirnes, so this help make easy for me 'jump' to here cos is similar in some ways, but they treated me very bad and my family too but no mind now cos life is wonderfull and I will gonna be safed too soon!

A few year ago, could have be ME what stop you and was nice and frindely.!!
(and maybe 'hot' like people say me!)

If you do the 'leg' part I will do the 'arm' part. It's entirely too strenuous to do both at the same time, at least for me. Whew!

That is, if Pastor approves - and if our Men approves of you!

I don't know how you put those quotes of other people's quotes when you write me, I wish I did. But I can just answer this way instead of putting your quotes here in.

I do no now that JH is a cult. I will shun them. Except if I see that same nice lady again. I will ask her to come to Church with me. Depending on what she says, then that will be the end of that.

Thanks for pointing this out to me. You see I use the computer that is at the library and some times I must waite in line for it. So I dont always have time to research like I probly should.

Sometimes I just want to fly away and be born again. I know you think I mean Born Again, but I never lost faith so I don't mean Born Again. I just mean born again. I wish I had the mind that I have now when I was a bitty bitty kid so I would have made better decisions when I was a younger person or when I was a kid.
