Hello everyone, let me introduce myself.

    Hello all,

I have been searching for an online community to share my love for Jesus!

    A little more about me...

My name is Brent (as you can see above), and I live in Texas. I attend Woodlawn Baptist Church every Wednesday and Sunday, I really do like it a lot and wish they held sermons every day! Anyways, I am 17 years old and am nearing my two year baptism anniversary. I found Woodlawn after years of living a sinful life, talked to the pastor and he showed me the way into the Lord's heart since then! I eventually found your website where I discovered the REAL way of Christianity, and have been looking into your forums for a few months now. I decided it was time to stop being shy and get involved with you all! Every day I feel blessed to not live such a heathen's life of lust, apathy, and Creationism ignorance. To feel His love and to know I am heading in the right direction everyday is so amazing, everyday!

My goals in life are to, of course, serve the Lord and to honor Him in everything I do. I hope to go to college (not at a public university where the liberal and atheistic scum tend to flock to, but a private, Christian college) where I will major in nutrition or kinesiology (I am very interested in health). After college I hope to join the military and join the fight against false-God-worshipping fools in the Middle East. After the military, I hope I can settle down a bit, and follow the Lord's direction so I can find myself in the best place possible.

Anyways, thank you for listening, and I will look foward to meeting you all!

    Praise Jesus!

Re: Hello everyone, let me introduce myself.

Excuse me, but I forgot to insert my favorite Bible verse into my introduction.

    My favorite Bible verse is:

I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.

    Philippians 4:13

Why this is my favorite is because it's very brief, but still gets the point across!

Welcome, young man. My heart rejoices that the LORD has brought you here. You have all the makings of an upstanding soldier for Christ! I look forward to fellowshipping with you.
        II Thessalonians 1:7-9
And to you who are troubled rest with us, when the Lord Jesus shall be revealed from heaven with his mighty angels,
In flaming fire taking vengeance on them that know not God, and that obey not the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ:
Who shall be punished with everlasting destruction from the presence of the Lord, and from the glory of his power

The man who is being progressively sanctified will inescapably sanctify his home, school, politics, economics, science, and all things else by understanding and interpreting all things in terms of the Word of God and by bringing all things under the Dominion of Christ the King. -R.J. Good for you!
But I think RoRo Spradlin is way to liberal, don't you think?
