Given the "job description" for the false priestood of Catholoicism one might suspect it was intended to happen.

I don't think they feel guilty in the slightest....

Irish abuse victim: New letter proves Vatican cover-up
A 1997 letter from a Vatican official advising Irish bishops not to report suspected child abuse cases to the police has sent shockwaves across the Catholic world.
    Paedo priest admits abuse
"I don't in the slightest have any sense I am a paedophile," he said. "I don't get the impression my nephew was opposed, quite the contrary," he added, although he also admitted "I knew it wasn't good, I confessed it several times."
And a surprising one that was into little girls (yeah they're as rare as unicorns).

South Dakota Sex Abuse Scandal: A Peek Inside the Church's Drawers
"All goes along quietly out here," one priest wrote in 1968, with "good religious and lay faculty" at the mission. There are troublesome staffers, though, including "Chappy," who is "fooling around with little girls -- he had them down the basement of our building in the dark, where we found a pair of panties torn." Later that year, Brother Francis Chapman was still abusing children, though by 1970, he was "a new man," the reports say. In 1973, Chappy again "has difficulty with little girls."
But as long as our papist friend here refuses to admit there's a problem and abandon the unholy seat of the Beast, it will continue to happen.

If you’re looking for a nightclub where you can have a couple beers with a bishop, go to confession, and shake your hips to the Village People, all in the cozy company of the final resting place of saints,
They're not even pretending to be righteous anymore, are they. I guess it's okay though since they have a confessional right in the bar. Not that I really want to know what happens in there

Anyone else notice that we have never had an Unsaved Trash Janitor? You'd think statistically that at least some of them would have menial jobs.

Ratzinger did near nothing about those scandal until it was years after, and only then because of public attention.

If you really do think and are moral you should drop the incense swingers sooner and not later.

If you'd like to know my reasoning, you may PM me. It's, unfortunately, a complicated and long story with many reasons. Placing it here may distract others from asking other questions.

Ratzinger did near nothing about those scandal until it was years after, and only then because of public attention.
I don't think so. Please look at my other post (in the "False Religions" section) about the CDF. Basically, Pope Benedict XVI did nothing because 1) he hadn't even heard of it until several years later; and 2) it was not under his jurisdiction at the time.

You can also look at the actual documents. I went in there with an open mind, and saw nothing that caught then-Cardinal Ratzinger red handed.

If you really do think and are moral you should drop the incense swingers sooner and not later.
Sorry, I don't see that happening in the near future.

Really, look at the facts. Look at the victims. Look at yourself.
My heart breaks every time I hear of an abuse, believe me.

Friend, only a dope would bow to the pope! That German uber-heathen's got the wool pulled over your eyes something fierce! Listen to yourself talk for a moment! The very name of the blasphemous mutated false-bible you read is called the "Vulgate," for goodness sake (but not HIS sake, there's no such thing as sinning for the sake of the LORD)! Need I even say more? Stop bowing before your false idols and spitting in the face of Jesus Christ the Lord!

Friend, apologizing here means "defending," not "saying sorry." Look up, for example, "The Apology" by Plato. It's not a speech about Socrates saying "I'm sorry," but a speech of him defending against his accusers.

Oh really? Have you been studying the Bible for years like the True Christians™ on this forum?
    Yes.

Have you read the whole KJV Bible from cover to cover? Of course not!
You got me there. I haven't read the KJV, but the Douey-Rheims, the Vulgate (I understand Latin, mind you) and the New American Standard Bible.

Problem #1: I'm not here to convert.
Problem #2: It isn't Mary worship, but that's another topic altogether.

I bet you will be glad to get away from the crooks at the vatican and all their lies.
You know that expression "Home is where the heart is"?
    Rome is my home.

My favorite Bible verse? I would say, personally, Matthew 16:18.
Conclusion: Jesus is the Son of God, the foundation stone of the church.

So far so good... I wouldn't go mentioning popes or the Whore of Babylon's MegaChurch inc. at this stage though.

I'll be interested to see whether you've come spreading papist propaganda or, like the vicar of Rome's usual satanic minions, you'll start arguing.

So how can you know anything about any faith? I think these "inaccuracies" you speak of are really just you picking and choosing what you want to follow of the Mary worshiping religion, just as you pick and choose what verses to listen to and what verses to ignore.
