    Greetings.

Greetings, brothers of the Landover Baptist Church!

I would just like to say that I do very much enjoy a great number of the articles on your website, and many of them have great insight into the problems of today's horrible, secular, world- and way to avoid such problems!

I do, however, have a couple of questions for you all.

Firstly, what's your view of Australia? I see that you appear to be predominatly American, and I am curious of your view of this country.

Also, I see that you mention the KJV almost exclusively, I am curious of your view of the NKJV by comparison?

    -In Christ.

Just one thing for any changes to the KJV1611

    Deuteronomy 4:2

Ye shall not add unto the word which I command you, neither shall ye diminish ought from it, that ye may keep the commandments of the LORD your God which I command you

Plain enough? GOD gave the Bible, and under HIS GUIDANCE it was perfectly translated.

    PRAISE THE LORD!

Don't get my wrong, I too use the KJV. It was a mere curiosity.

But is not the NKJV translated using the same manuscripts as the KJV, but was merely translated to update the vocabulary and grammar that was first used in the KJV, thus allowing those who are unsaved and unable to fully understand the language of the NKJ to perhaps have a slightly higher chance of understanding the Good Word?

        NO!

Even without reading it fully and risking the use of non LBC material I might point to a link where you can find some of the "minor updates"

seethelight is right! Only the KJV is correct, all other "bibles" are false and should be shunned!

Thank you, and the more "subtly false" the more dangerous for Christians.

More than shunned they must be fought, they distort GOD'S WORD!

PRAY THAT HIS WORD IS KEPT PURE!

You might want to take a look at THIS sermon of mine. It addresses your question nicely, I think.

Why don't you tell us about yourself? What church do you attend?

I don't think there are many Saved folk in that Godless cesspool down under, are there?
              Who Will Jesus Damn?

Here is a partial list from just a few scripture verses:

Hypocrites (Matthew 24:51), The Unforgiving (Mark 11:26), Homosexuals (Romans 1:26, 27), Fornicators (Romans 1:29), The Wicked (Romans 1:29), The Covetous (Romans 1:29), The Malicious (Romans 1:29), The Envious (Romans 1:29), Murderers (Romans 1:29), The Deceitful (Romans 1:29), Backbiters (Romans 1:30), Haters of God (Romans 1:30), The Despiteful (Romans 1:30), The Proud (Romans 1:30), Boasters (Romans 1:30), Inventors of evil (Romans 1:30), Disobedient to parents (Romans 1:30), Covenant breakers (Romans 1:31), The Unmerciful (Romans 1:31), The Implacable (Romans 1:31), The Unrighteous (1Corinthians 6:9), Idolaters (1Corinthians 6:9), Adulterers (1Corinthians 6:9), The Effeminate (1Corinthians 6:9), Thieves (1Corinthians 6:10), Drunkards (1Corinthians 6:10), Reviler (1Corinthians 6:10), Extortioners (1Corinthians 6:10), The Fearful (Revelation 21:8), The Unbelieving (Revelation 21:8), The Abominable (Revelation 21:8), Whoremongers (Revelation 21:8), Sorcerers (Revelation 21:8), All Liars (Revelation 21:8)

I'm not sure if your link is working, I'm afraid. I am interested in reading your sermon though.

I currently attend East Hills Bapist Church. We are a small group, sadly, so you may not have heard of us. It is unfortonate, but there really is few True Christians around here these days.
I just recently got back home from visiting my father-in-law down south. Sadly he is very ill, and thus my wife wished to visit him once before he passes away. We are hoping that our efforts to finally bring him to the Good Lord may not have been in vain this time; he has resisted Jesus' love all the way until now... It was very unpleasent to have to worship the Lord on our own last Sunday, however, as the only churches in his town are full of unspeakable lies and disgusting practices.

Australia really isn't such a bad place. There may be few True Christians here, but there really is much worse places in the world. I am just glad I do not live with all those yellow commies in Indonesia!
