Just in case you think that your soft, liberal atheist views might have some resonance with The Lord of Hosts, read Num 16:49, in which The Lord kills 14,700 for complaining about His killings.Specific verses in context please, then we will answer your question.
And, if I'm not mistaken, they were guilty of sins like sacrificing their own children in fire, and temple prostitution, right? If an entire country makes clear that they're going to support that kind of thing, you bet they deserve whatever comes to them!

Also, I'm not an expert in Japanese culture or anything; but I've heard that (WARNING: IF YOUR CHILDREN ARE READING THIS, AVERT THEIR EYES!!!) they publish comics glorifying all kinds of sexual abuse - especially molestation of children, - and sell little girls' used panties in vending machines. That's just plain wrong!

Regarding the toys issue: I'm sure the toys that are called "action figures" have only existed for about 60 or 70 years. Before that, children had all kinds of fun without action figures. Not only did they have fun, but they learned important life-lessons. And, looking at the things that pass for action-figures these days... well, I can say that I'd rather let a child play with sticks and stones than action-figures.

This Clayton King guy has no respect for the Bible. He should NOT be in Church!

With all of the condemning, it's pushing them farther away, because all of this condemnation (pardon my language) crap is making it seem like there is no hope for them anyway. All of the racism is painful to read about when I think about how many people were injured or even killed through the radioactivity and tsunami and earthquake. Why can't we extend our Christian love to them?
What better way is there to show our Christian Love with them than to share the Good News with them exactly as it was recorded in the Holy Bible? If our hearts were not filled with love for all the unsaved trash of the world, why would we spend our time trying to win their souls for His Kingdom? The most hateful thing I can think of would be to ignore them as they wallow in depredation or, worse yet, molly-coddle them and tell them that their sinful nature is okay in the eyes of the LORD. God is very clear about how we are to do the work of evangelists and spread the Good News.

    II Timothy 4:2-5
Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all long suffering and doctrine.
    For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears;
And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables.
But watch thou in all things, endure afflictions, do the work of an evangelist, make full proof of thy ministry.

We are trying to snap them out of their delusion and exhort them to get right with Jesus!
God has brought them here for a reason. For us to just ignore their desperate cries for help would be completely antithetical to the Christian Love that we all feel for all of you. Please try not to be so hostile. We are only trying to help you and the rest of the unsaved trash who come here spewing hatred. It's not too late for you or for them. We want you all to join us in Heaven. We want you all to accept Jesus' kind offer of Redemption and become a True Christians™. It is precisely because of our Christian love that we scourge and chasten unsaved trash.

    Hebrews 12:5-8
And ye have forgotten the exhortation which speaketh unto you as unto children, My son, despise not thou the chastening of the Lord, nor faint when thou art rebuked of him:
For whom the Lord loveth he chasteneth, and scourgeth every son whom he receiveth.
If ye endure chastening, God dealeth with you as with sons; for what son is he whom the father chasteneth not?
But if ye be without chastisement, whereof all are partakers, then are ye bastards, and not sons.

The fact that you lack the discernment to recognize our Christian Love for what it is tells me that your faith is weak and that you have not truly been Saved™. I exhort you to take your faith more seriously, that you may not just hear His Word, but truly understand it. And then, I want you to commit to Jesus and to yourself that you will follow His Word, exactly as it is written.

    Matthew 13:14-16
And in them is fulfilled the prophecy of Esaias, which saith, By hearing ye shall hear, and shall not understand; and seeing ye shall see, and shall not perceive:
For this people's heart is waxed gross, and their ears are dull of hearing, and their eyes they have closed; lest at any time they should see with their eyes and hear with their ears, and should understand with their heart, and should be converted, and I should heal them.
But blessed are your eyes, for they see: and your ears, for they hear.

It is not enough to merely call yourself a "Christian." You must be born anew of seed incorruptible (I Peter 1:23), at which point all further deviation from God's Word will not just be undesirable, but literally impossible (I John 3:6-9). If you are unable to fully commit to Christ, then you call yourself His servant in vain. Hell will be chock full with unsaved trash who went through life calling themselves "Christian" without having the faintest idea of what that truly means.

    Matthew7:21-23
Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.
Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works?
And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.

Being a True Christian™ is not simply a matter of raising your hand when asked or checking the correct box on a demographic questionnaire. I truly hope you realize this before it is too late for you.

Fine. I'm up for a challenge, bing on Mecha-Godzilla! All that I'm saying is that the hurtful things being said about countries like Canada, Japan, and Sweden are unnecessary. God says in Matthew to do unto others as you would have others do unto you...I think that includes saying that God hates certain people because they aren't American. Thank you for the sarcastic input, but I will be happy to continue this discussion. By the way, I read the New International Version of God's word, thank you very much. Just wondering, do you believe in Divine Choice? Where God chooses who He wants in Heaven like who someone wants on their kickball team, sir?

    Deuteronomy 13:6-10
If thy brother, the son of thy mother, or thy son, or thy daughter, or the wife of thy bosom, or thy friend, which is as thine own soul, entice thee secretly, saying, Let us go and serve other gods, which thou hast not known, thou, nor thy fathers; Namely, of the gods of the people which are round about you, nigh unto thee, or far off from thee, from the one end of the earth even unto the other end of the earth; Thou shalt not consent unto him, nor hearken unto him; neither shall thine eye pity him, neither shalt thou spare, neither shalt thou conceal him: But thou shalt surely kill him; thine hand shall be first upon him to put him to death, and afterwards the hand of all the people. And thou shalt stone him with stones, that he die.
If you were truly a Baptist, you would see that.

All right...I guess I can tell about myself...I'm 17 years old, have a firm relationship with God...don't think I should bring up my political beliefs. I am involved in our local First Baptist church, and am involved in Praise Team, Youth Group, and Choir. I came to find Jesus while at a Christian Youth event with a speaker named Clayton King. there...now you know about me. Can I just ask, why can't people have differentiating opinions on controversial issues on this site? This is by no means intended to offend anyone as I am just curious.

Well friend, I didn't write the Bible, I just follow it, and to the letter. For a good start on who is damned, please see Pastor Ezekiels signature. Again, if you read the Bible, you'd know all this already. Are you sure you're Baptist? What version of the Bible do you read from, the Fisher Price version?

Also, I have no issues with gingers as long as they God Fearing Baptist gingers.
