This is the most cowardly statement I have ever heard someone say/seen someone write. If there was a war between America and the rest of the world, if America was losing you would abandon them and if they were winning you would join them. That's what your statement is saying.

You think too much my friend. Look, when you go to Home Depot and buy a cabinet that has to be put together yourself, do you question the "How To" manual? I bet you do. I bet all the cabinets in your home are falling apart or backwards - just like your entire LIFE!!!

Why don't I question the 'how to' manual for putting together cabinets? Well the 'how to' manual is something I asked for, the Bible is simply thrusted upon us and we are simply told to accept it. Not only that but I don't ever hear people complaining about how 'this cabinet making manual is untrue,' so there is no noticeable questionability of the manual's contents, as for the Bible were the 'hellbound atheist scum' and some other religions say that it is inaccurate to the point that it is fiction.

Although you may disagree with such things I would recommend finding that book I previously mentioned (or finding it's animated counterpart) as it may shed some light on how people like me think. When you are willing to do that, I will be willing to pick up your KJV Bible and read it.

The challenge against your faith is one that's existed for a long time, this is because of it's vagueness in reasoning, this means it is hard to overcome with other logic.

I actually read a novel of Japanese origin entitle Umineko no Naku Koro ni which talked about the same thing in a different (more indirect) way.
Depending on what way you think (are willing to believe the impossible if there is no evidence supporting the possible or not) it became either a murder mystery or if you would give in to the impossible: a man trying to disprove that this witch exists to the witch herself. Of course the book had a few thousand (hyperbole) side stories so it wasn't as bland as that and it contained some of the best traits of a discussion that I have ever seen.
Whatever, I've lost my line of thought and this has just turned into an advertisement for a fictional text, so I'll stop.

We are peacefully practicing our faith and righteously obeying God. We congregate in these forums to share our thoughts and opinions.

Some heathen trash [that's you] comes in here and calls us all fools. Tries to get into an argument in his first post. Issues a challenge against our faith as an 'intellectual exercise'.

The question naturally arises, why do you come here with a chip on your shoulder? Trying to prove something to yourself?

I guess I should expect that from an atheist. With no moral compass, how can you know that what you're doing is wrong?

The sigh was inserted as all you've done is ask me to repeat myself but make it easier to understand.
I maintain my anonymity for a reason which I'll make clear on the 12th.
You ask me about my reasons (as well as an attempt to insult me for not following the path of God using one of those sweeping generalizations that you previously complained about) and also told me that I should re-read my posts. I thought I had said about my motives at least twice.

Maybe, but I'd rather not, it doesn't reflect your opinions. It is the base of them. As an analogy (not a literal comparison of ranks) imagine the Bible as a poem, and your analysis of it is just one of the many interpretations of that poem. Those are what Im here for. Nothing more. Nothing less.

Like I said earlier, the fool is someone who says...there is no God. I never said that. Would you criticize a Flood Geologist without ever picking up a textbook? Pick up your Bible and read it before you call us unintelligent.

There are these R.E. lessons which I did at school. They were as frequent as science and didn't do me any good despite their Bible teachings. Then I read a compressed version of the Bible and found the best bit to be Revelations because of it's story-like layout. In the end I came away from the Bible thirsting for more knowledge on the way people think. People's ideals for others and the actions they take to succeed in them became the most intriguing factor of this. That is why I am here. Because many of you have such extreme views on how you should go about acquiring your own ideals. Unfortunately I misjudged the amount of you who could justify your reasons. You are a good example of what I came to this site for.

This community will most likely despise me, considering what I've seen in other threads. I care not for any God but I do not want to tell you that you are wrong for believing in 'a false deity' as that goes against my morals.

Then...

...Don't talk to me of how one should not do that which they enjoy as they will get an eternity of that in heaven as you clearly all get some cheap delightment in worship of God and the following of religion.
