It looks like our resident 'hatetheist' is wittering away under the pressure. Dodging questions, holding ulterior motives, and a sense of overall treachery; our good friend Eagle is the hallmark of everything that is wrong with unbelievers.
You cannot defeat us in a debate, for we all have the Armour of God, well, the saved ones anyway.
"Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might. Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high [places]. Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand."
Eph 6:10-13

Indeed. This thread does not serve Jesus Christ in any way by the OP and is therefore closed.

Why do you want to go to hell? Why don't you want to be on the winning team?
This is the most cowardly statement I have ever heard someone say/seen someone write. If there was a war between America and the rest of the world, if America was losing you would abandon them and if they were winning you would join them. That's what your statement is saying.
You think too much my friend. Look, when you go to Home Depot and buy a cabinet that has to be put together yourself, do you question the "How To" manual? I bet you do. I bet all the cabinets in your home are falling apart or backwards - just like your entire LIFE!!!
Why don't I question the 'how to' manual for putting together cabinets? Well the 'how to' manual is something I asked for, the Bible is simply thrusted upon us and we are simply told to accept it. Not only that but I don't ever hear people complaining about how 'this cabinet making manual is untrue,' so there is no noticeable questionability of the manual's contents, as for the Bible were the 'hellbound atheist scum' and some other religions say that it is inaccurate to the point that it is fiction.
Although you may disagree with such things I would recommend finding that book I previously mentioned (or finding it's animated counterpart) as it may shed some light on how people like me think. When you are willing to do that, I will be willing to pick up your KJV Bible and read it.
The challenge against your faith is one that's existed for a long time, this is because of it's vagueness in reasoning, this means it is hard to overcome with other logic.

I bet all the cabinets in your home are falling apart or backwards - just like your entire LIFE!!! The only thing illogical here is your unwillingness to accept the Bible. I do not get this kind of logic. Why do you want to go to hell? Why don't you want to be on the winning team?
Finally, your views on atheists are rather tainted.
Really? They ARE tainted immoral hell bound scum, most of which are homosexuals and deviants. What else are we supposed to think?
Look it up if you want to know how to make a good discussion.
Your all like a bunch of sassy girls arguing about how pretty their dolls are.
I actually read a novel of Japanese origin entitle Umineko no Naku Koro ni which talked about the same thing in a different (more indirect) way.
Depending on what way you think (are willing to believe the impossible if there is no evidence supporting the possible or not) it became either a murder mystery or if you would give in to the impossible: a man trying to disprove that this witch exists to the witch herself. Of course the book had a few thousand (hyperbole) side stories so it wasn't as bland as that and it contained some of the best traits of a discussion that I have ever seen.
Whatever, I've lost my line of thought and this has just turned into an advertisement for a fictional text, so I'll stop.
Isn't that what you have done since you landed in these forums? Re-read some of your posts, all pedantic and no substance.
Oh, and by the way, starting a post with a sigh is incredibly condescending.
People in general are fools. I agree, but not for the same reasons. You think yourself superior to everyone else. I call people fools for rejecting God and His power. In either case, you made a sweeping generalization and you're trying to squirm your way out of it.
You referred to our religion as a cheap deligthment. What I said afterwards is of no consequence. Besides, you missed the point of my post. How can you extend an olive branch and assure us that you won't call our beliefs wrong, when that's exactly what you do in the following paragraph?
Calling everyone else a fool does not make you appear smarter. In fact, it's excruciatingly redundant and a broad generalization. Such bravado for an anonymous poster.
This is the situation:
We are peacefully practicing our faith and righteously obeying God. We congregate in these forums to share our thoughts and opinions.
Some heathen trash [that's you] comes in here and calls us all fools. Tries to get into an argument in his first post. Issues a challenge against our faith as an 'intellectual exercise'.
The question naturally arises, why do you come here with a chip on your shoulder? Trying to prove something to yourself?
I guess I should expect that from an atheist. With no moral compass, how can you know that what you're doing is wrong?
The sigh was inserted as all you've done is ask me to repeat myself but make it easier to understand.
I maintain my anonymity for a reason which I'll make clear on the 12th.
You ask me about my reasons (as well as an attempt to insult me for not following the path of God using one of those sweeping generalizations that you previously complained about) and also told me that I should re-read my posts. I thought I had said about my motives at least twice.
The challenge against your faith is one that's existed for a long time, this is because of it's vagueness in reasoning, this means it is hard to overcome with other logic. That is what makes this challenging enough to be amusing.
Finally, your views on atheists are rather tainted. Even by their standards what I am doing is morally wrong, but sometimes morals can be overthrown by other factors.
*sigh*
Again you prove that there are some people that just try to find error in the mot minor of things...

The first problem was the mistake that you made, when I was calling people fools I was referring to people in general.

And then you deny your 'cheap delightment' only to later proclaim that you will enjoy watching me suffer the most anyone can, I don't know about you but that sounds pretty disturbed to me.

In the end you've only reinforced the existence of fools with your own foolish comment. Next time, I suggest you think (with that brain which you believe to be a gift from God) before you post such an unintelligent reply.

If you're looking for proof you're pretty far gone. You need faith. Faith is the path that God chose for us to interact with Him. You can't change it and neither can I so you better get used to it.
"For we walk by faith, not by sight" - 2 Corinthians 5:7
That's the Holy Ghost convicting you for your sins. Your spirit is yearning for more of God. Son, Jesus is knocking on the door to your heart- open yourself and let Jesus in!
If I wanted you to lie to me I wouldn't have bothered talking to any of you. I only want your opinions for the purpose of knowledge.
Knowledge won't save you from Hell.
Maybe, but I'd rather not, it doesn't reflect your opinions.
Yes it does...
In that case, I think your God is disturbing.
Your standards matter to God less than His standards matter to you.
You are trying to persuade me to join your cause. That other guy only wanted to insult me and anyone that doesn't believe what he does.
Don't you get it? We're both trying to save you from Hell!
In the end I came away from the Bible thirsting for more knowledge on the way people think...

Unfortunately I misjudged the amount of you who could justify your reasons.
If you want justifications for what I believe, crack open a Bible.
The Bible says that a fool is someone who says in his heart that there is no God. The Bible has a lot to say about fools. Maybe you should read it.
Maybe, but I'd rather not, it doesn't reflect your opinions. It is the base of them. As an analogy (not a literal comparison of ranks) imagine the Bible as a poem, and your analysis of it is just one of the many interpretations of that poem. Those are what Im here for. Nothing more. Nothing less.
The only reason I'm talking to you is to try to figure out the best way to save you from hellfire, but for the life of me you won't stop your inane babble long enough to accept Jesus. I must say it's quite frustrating.
I'm glad to hear that. You are trying to persuade me to join your cause. That other guy only wanted to insult me and anyone that doesn't believe what he does.
Like I said earlier, the fool is someone who says...there is no God. I never said that. Would you criticize a Flood Geologist without ever picking up a textbook? Pick up your Bible and read it before you call us unintelligent.
There are these R.E. lessons which I did at school. They were as frequent as science and didn't do me any good despite their Bible teachings. Then I read a compressed version of the Bible and found the best bit to be Revelations because of it's story-like layout. In the end I came away from the Bible thirsting for more knowledge on the way people think. People's ideals for others and the actions they take to succeed in them became the most intriguing factor of this. That is why I am here. Because many of you have such extreme views on how you should go about acquiring your own ideals. Unfortunately I misjudged the amount of you who could justify your reasons. You are a good example of what I came to this site for.
*sigh*
Again you prove that there are some people that just try to find error in the mot minor of things...
A spade is a spade... and an error is an error, however minor. Would you like us to lie so your feelings aren't hurt?

If you think that's disturbed then you think God is disturbed as well.
"The LORD hath made all things for himself: yea, even the wicked for the day of evil." - Proverbs 16:4
That means that the Lord created certain people- possibly you- just to punish them.
Then you ask me (for my opinion) about why I would think that you care about what I think. That seems a little contradictory if you ask me.
If you didn't care about my thoughts then why bother replying to them?

I am always delighted when Google-Search-Philosophers try to prove God wrong with tired, old arguments.
First this...
Then...
You do not want to tell us that we are wrong, yet we get 'some cheap delightment' in pursuing our beliefs? Hmm.
Thank you for allowing us to practice our 'partially do-able' faith. Also, nice of you to call peaceful people 'fools'. How is the view from that pedestal you put yourself on?
Why should we put any effort into convincing you? Why do you think that we care about what you think? You're just a monkey-worshiping atheist.
I will look forward to watch you roast in Hell from the Heavens.
*sigh*

The first problem was the mistake that you made, when I was calling people fools I was referring to people in general. A fool that I think we can all agree on would be 'Professor' Brian Cox, he doesn't contribute anything to science, he simply states things that already have been stated. He is but a media face for CERN.
And then you deny your 'cheap delightment' only to later proclaim that you will enjoy watching me suffer the most anyone can, I don't know about you but that sounds pretty disturbed to me.

This community will most likely despise me, considering what I've seen in other threads. I care not for any God but I do not want to tell you that you are wrong for believing in 'a false deity' as that goes against my morals.
Then...
...Don't talk to me of how one should not do that which they enjoy as they will get an eternity of that in heaven as you clearly all get some cheap delightment in worship of God and the following of religion.
You do not want to tell us that we are wrong, yet we get 'some cheap delightment' in pursuing our beliefs? Hmm.
But again, I'm not going to tell you to stop, if that's what you want to do then at least it's partially do-able, unlike some fool who believes that they can bring about world peace (unfortunately views conlict too often for such a thing, doesn't help when so many are fools).
Thank you for allowing us to practice our 'partially do-able' faith. Also, nice of you to call peaceful people 'fools'. How is the view from that pedestal you put yourself on?
How about instead of just posting stupid troll comments and insults, why not prove my points wrong, if you all keep it up for long enough then maybe I'll give in and join you.
Why should we put any effort into convincing you? Why do you think that we care about what you think? You're just a monkey-worshiping atheist.
I will look forward to watch you roast in Hell from the Heavens.
