Those big "foreign" oil companies are so profitable because they're being blessed by God for supplying His favorite country, America, with all the oil it needs. Are you going to question the methods of God's chosen workers on earth? Maybe it would be best if you grab a U-Haul, donkey, or whatever it is you move your things around with, pack up and get to America.

I was unaware that you knew which country was God's favorite. I was under the impression that it was America, but please correct me if I'm wrong.

Let me introduce myself. I am Rev. Friday Obobo and I live in a small heathen community in Nigeria. I'm trying to convert the local population (mostly pagan and other local beliefs) to True Christianity. So far I've succeeded to 'turn' one family. Let me tell you that iot was a struggle. Sorry, thought i my question was to Obobo. I was thinking he'd be able to answer for himself. He mentioned no electricty, sewers, (and plumbing i guess) so i wondered to know how they all use the bathroom. Just like kids want to know how astrounaghts use the bathroom in space, i wanted to know how primitives do it.

Just curious. I'm trying to learn more about primitive cultures.

You got that right! On May 25 of this year, I held my nose and joined a bunch of mostly liberal protesters outside Chevron's annual shareholder meeting in San Ramon, California. One of my fellow protesters was a Nigerian guy who had survived being sprayed with bullets by mercenaries in the employ of Chevron. The other Nigerians around him weren't so lucky.

Why did Chevron pay mercenaries to use automatic rifles to murder these people? Well, they were engaged in a peaceful protest over the fact that Chevron was destroying the environment in the Niger Delta.

That's just one story. Ask me some time, and I'll tell you the truth about Chevron's genocide in Ecuador.
