Friend, why would I want to show somebody a book of lies that could lead them to eternal damnation? Evilution spits in the face of God as it goes against the teachings of the Bible. I'm here to save souls.

In the Biblical sense, wisdom is the "ability to judge correctly and to follow the best course of action, based on knowledge and understanding" (Lockyer p. 1103). How can you judge correctly, based on knowledge if you have no knowledge?
I have all the Biblical Knowledge I need. Therefore, knowing my Bible God tasks me to spread His word:

    Mark 16:15
And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.

Romans 10:14 How then shall they call on him in whom they have not believed? and how shall they believe in him of whom they have not heard? and how shall they hear without a preacher?

    Matthew 28:19
Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:

well this is how i understand it. firstly, the problem with your argument is that the same can be said about the bible by a secular person. in fact there will a whole lot more poofs when he describes the bible!
and of course the big bang theory is simply a conjecture to the point that they don't know what might have existed before the big bang. But even when we study the bible, we don't know why god decided to create the earth. why at that particular moment and not a moment before or after.
gods ways are higher than ours cannot be a reason for that for it means u know just as little as the scientists but they are humble and accept it. I was taught that the most important thing about being a christian is to be humble but when i meet other elders thats not what i see. they are very arrogant in the certitude of their beliefs.
it doesnt help me choose between science or faith because i feel like there is in fact little certitude in the bible itself just like there is in science.

    Of course there's choice, friend

    Jesus or HELL

It's a really easy choice. I trust you'll make the right one.

You want a rational argument? Fine, I'll walk you through it.

Here's a summary of evolution: In the beginning there was nothing, nada, zip. This went on for a very long time until all that nothing got very bored with not existing. Just the same thing - nothing - all the time. So all that nothing said, 'enough! I want to be something!' Poof! Big Bang. All the nothing was now a whole universe!!

Cool, thought the universe that used to be nothing. And the universe was content for billions of years. Then the universe said to itself 'self, this is boring too! I'm nothing but dead molecules. I think I'll be alive instead! Poof! Abiogenesis. Guess what, all this life got bored too after a billion years, so it decided to get bigger and try different forms. Poof! Evolution! Life got bigger and bigger and bigger until it was gigantic! Then a rock fell out of the sky and killed them all except the tiny ones. So they spent a few more million years tiny before they dared get bigger again. Then some of the ones swinging from trees started to get bored with being stupid and decided to try big brains. Poof! Humans.

That's about it. The Bible makes way more sense, don't you think?

    You're welcome.

    Re: Need Help!!

Friend, the fact is, the Word of God is not wrong. Period. If you deny this, you are denying the Truth that is right in front of your eyes. How can there be any question?

"All scripture [is] given by inspiration of God, and [is] profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:" - 2 Timothy 3:16
So, now that we've established the Bible is true, let's see what it says about how animals, plants, and people came to be:

    Gensis 1:11-12 says

"And God said, Let the earth bring forth grass, the herb yielding seed, and the fruit tree yielding fruit after his kind, whose seed is in itself, upon the earth: and it was so. And the earth brought forth grass, and herb yielding seed after his kind, and the tree yielding fruit, whose seed was in itself, after his kind: and God saw that it was good."
So now we know how plants got here: God said it, and it happened. But what about fish, birds, and animals?

    Genesis 1:21 and 25 says

"And God created great whales, and every living creature that moveth, which the waters brought forth abundantly, after their kind, and every winged fowl after his kind: and God saw that it was good."
"And God made the beast of the earth after his kind, and cattle after their kind, and every thing that creepeth upon the earth after his kind: and God saw that it was good. "
So there we go. Go "created" and "made" them. No mention of evolution here. Let's move on to people:

Genesis 2:7 and 2:22 describe the creation of man and woman, respectively:

"And the LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul.
"And the rib, which the LORD God had taken from man, made he a woman, and brought her unto the man."
So here we find that God made man out of the dust of the ground and his own breath, and woman he made out of Adam's rib. Again, no mention of monkeys, evolution, or millions of years.

Friend, I've just laid out for you the logical case for believing in the Bible. I showed you that the Bible is absolutely true, then showed you word for word what it says. It's your choice to believe now. But remember John 20:29:

Jesus saith unto him, Thomas, because thou hast seen me, thou hast believed: blessed [are] they that have not seen, and [yet] have believed.

I sincerely hope you make the right choice

please everyone, i hav been a believer in christ all my life and i am going through a difficult time right now. the last thing i need is snide remarks about how i sound. i need guidance. i need a rational argument.
also, i am sorry if i sound rude but i dont think you shouldnt judge people especially based on a few interactions. only god gets to judge.

yes but thats the thing. i hav no intentions to use drugs or watch porn or be gay or any of the other things u have listed and i doubt i will ever go so far away from god that i will start doing those.
thats wat my elders told me but i dont think reading anything besides the good book would make me do those things. thats when they told me to come here and ask all of u.

I understand that but as i said i m confused. if evolution is real then the word of god is false. that means there is no god or not the one i pray to.
i am very afraid. please, i need more information and help than just a few of sentences. i need a rational argument.
    thank you

I am sorry if i sound stupid. i just think that if god's word is the absolute truth and if i believe in his infinite wisdom then he will show me the right path. if i read about evolution and later realize that its just a bunch of BS then it will hav made my faith even stronger.
is there any harm in reading??

if evolution is fake and i believe in it then i will hav turned my back on god and if it is real then and i still remain a creationist then i will hav spent my life in ignorance.
    please help.
