    Hello!

Hi, my name is Jessica, I'm not sure how I'm supposed to go about introducing myself on a forum, since this is the first time I've joined one, but I'll give it a go.

I'm 23 years old, and I've been attending the Helensvale Baptist Church for almost ten years now. I'm married, and have given birth to one beautiful son two months ago. I love Jesus, and I think I can always feel Him close by whenever I've felt alone or scared, I have no doubt in my heart that God is a Good God, and I feel very blessed for the opportunities in life He has given me. My favorite book in the bible is Psalms, I think it is beautiful. My favorite verse is Psalm 23:4.

I'll admit I am nervous about even posting on this forum, as I'm not entirely sure how I'll be received. I'm not the sort of person who can hate somebody easily, so I'm not keen to join in on gay bashing. All I have is love in my heart, and I was just hoping that the people here would be similar minded.

      Re: Hello!

Welcome Jessica. It warms the cockles of Jesus heart when a female makes a baby. It is a womans greatest accomplishment.

What passage does your husband find is most fulfilling and how does it provide him with the greatest pleasure?

Is your pie crust soft and flaky are hard and crunchy?
Isaiah 45:7 I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the LORD do all these things.
Amos 3:6 Shall a trumpet be blown in the city, and the people not be afraid? shall there be evil in a city, and the LORD hath not done it?
Numbers 21:6 And the LORD sent fiery serpents among the people, and they bit the people; and much people of Israel died.
Matthew 10:34 Think not that I am come to send peace on earth: I came not to send peace, but a sword.
Matthew 10:35 For I am come to set a man at variance against his father, and the daughter against her mother, and the daughter in law against her mother in law.
Matthew 10:36 And a man's foes shall be they of his own household.

        Hello Jessica,

If you see an instance of "gay bashing" please alert a pastor AT ONCE.

However, please do not confuse our alerting sodomites to biblical admonishments (Leviticus 20:13) against their deathstyle as bashing, but rather as our hope that they give up their sinful ways and join us in Heaven!

Well said, Zechariah! Just over this last weekend, I was preaching the Good News of Jesus Christ on San Francisco's notorious Polk Street, which is filled with homosexual prostitutes and their customers, and a group of three Puerto Rican hustlers cornered me in an ally and aggressively felt me up for at least ten minutes!

I ask you, who is the bashing victim here?

Welcome to the forum Jessica! You sound like a good, upstanding Christian to me. I wouldn't say there is any "gay basing" going on- just bashing gay behavior. Sinners can always be redeemed of their unholy behavior .

              Mark 9:43-47
43 And if thy hand offend thee, cut it off: it is better for thee to enter into life maimed, than having two hands to go into hell, into the fire that never shall be quenched:
45 And if thy foot offend thee, cut it off: it is better for thee to enter halt into life, than having two feet to be cast into hell, into the fire that never shall be quenched:
47 And if thine eye offend thee, pluck it out: it is better for thee to enter into the kingdom of God with one eye, than having two eyes to be cast into hell fire:

Matthew 19:12 (King James Version) 12For there are some eunuchs, which were so born from their mother's womb: and there are some eunuchs, which were made eunuchs of men: and there be eunuchs, which have made themselves eunuchs for the kingdom of heaven's sake. He that is able to receive it, let him receive it.

I don't know about other women, but having my baby was my favorite thing I've done so far, I love him so much. I can't wait to have a second one, hopefully a girl next time around so I can have one of each.

My gosh, don't get me started one what passage he finds most fulfilling, it would be like a fat kid in a candy shop. He just graduated uni last year, he's a full time pastor at the church now.

I haven't baked a pie before, they're not that big over here. I guess I could give it a go if that's what Americans like, since that is where my husband is from.

I know that most Baptists mean well by it, my husband tells me I'm too soft a lot of the time, that saving people is like saving them from a burning house that they don't know is on fire. That they would thank you if they knew what you were saving them from.

Wow, that sounds very scary. I'm not sure that kind of thing would happen where I live, even when my husband go into Surfers to spread the word of God. That place is VERY seedy, we've only ever had problems with the police when they arrive and tell us that we can't do what we're doing, although it's okay for the drug dealers to stay.

You might want to get his explicit permission, if only to avoid his Biblical wrath later.

That sounds great, but why stop at two? The Lord needs as many soldiers as he can get.

                  You're a Pastor's wife- good for you! I hope he's not a cherry-picking, "John 3:16", Jesus-love-the-little-children type of Pastor.

I haven't baked a pie before, they're not that big over here. I guess I could give it a go if that's what Americans like, since that is where my husband is from.
Maybe I missed something... You're not American? And bake your husband's favorite pie right now and give it to him. He will definitely take notice.

Exactly! The world is going to HELL and yet sinners remain stubbornly addicted to their sins. We Christians aren't just savings queers and Satan worshipers from a burning house- we're saving them from eternal rape by the barbed tallywhackers of their dark master and his minions.

Wow, that sounds very scary. I'm not sure that kind of thing would happen where I live, even when my husband go into Surfers to spread the word of God. That's insane! Rejoice in your persecution though, because yours is the kingdom of heaven! Keep reaching out to the lost and blind- they need someone to preach the whole Bible to them, even if they don't know it right now.

What is this "Surfers" you speak of? Some type of watering hole for whiskey drinkers?

I'd steer clear and just let 'em all drown in their own filth, but I guess maybe you and your husband are better people than me.

                      Re: Hello!

Well, a few people in my church are evangelists, so we all go together every weekend to spread the word of Our Savior. Even if the place is dirty, it's safe to go in large numbers.

Surfers is short for Surfers Paradise, it's an area in Australia that is supposedly a great tourist attraction on the beach, but it's full of clubs and people that are drunk and drugged, and they're all godless. There are even a few gay clubs. Even more disturbing is that it's over run by people who can't even speak English well. And I'd never go there at night, it's scary enough during the day.

I especially don't like it during the time of the year called Schoolies, when for three weeks it's full of school leavers whose parents actually allow them all to stay unsupervised in the area, and all they do is drink and cause trouble.

Oh, I've never seen that, I don't watch much television. But it is fairly mad a lot of the time. I mean, we have a Prime Minister who is an atheist, and she has a man that she lives with that she isn't even married to! No wonder we had all those floods recently, I think electing Julia Gillard as our leader made him very angry with us.

I can tell you a few things men like. It is pies and sons.

Your husband may tell you he wants a girl but that is typical for a newly wed. By the time the girl is 12 and has no suitor, he'll be willing to pay 100 shekels, trust me. My wifes has had a bunch of daughters. I think we married most of them off by now though it seems there are one or two still about.
Lastly, all men love steamy pie. Be sure to offer him (and his male friends) a slice. Be sure it is fresh.
Isaiah 45:7 I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the LORD do all these things.
