    Specifically
    Job 41:19-21
19 Out of his mouth go burning lamps, and sparks of fire leap out . 20 Out of his nostrils goeth smoke, as out of a seething pot or caldron. 21 His breath kindleth coals, and a flame goeth out of his mouth.

Well, aren't you a rude little strumpet! Do you always burst into the middle of an adult conversation and scream about fire?

Even a filthy atheist godmocker knows scripture better than you. What's wrong with you?

Job 41:1 "Canst thou draw out leviathan with an hook? or his tongue with a cord which thou lettest down? "

Seems to me that Job 41 is about leviathan, not dragons. Of course, with my lack of True Christian(tm) Discernment(r), I may be misunderstanding the words that say that it's about leviathan, and not dragons, and it may actually be about dragons and not about leviathan even though it says in quite clear language that it's about leviathan and not dragons.

I think our lovely Octavia is more concerned with picking the mote out of the eyes of those she thinks are her neighbours...

More concerned with questioning others than answering them.

Now I understand why people were perturbed with you.

No wonder the Bible is a book you do not want to follow. You already know EVERYTHING.

    I’ll pray for you tonight.
I don't loathe you guys, I just get quite annoyed with the people here.

You guys should learn to respect people, even if they have different beliefs. Instead of saying something disrespectful and mean to newcomers you should welcome them. If they have different beliefs, don't tell them that they are wrong. While they are going through discussions they might realize a few things. If you say harsh things right off the start all you do is make them NOT want to join you.
Octavia, correct me if I’m wrong, but you were not insulted here, but at worst harshly contradicted; in opposite, accept my apology for any True Christian™ that incidentally insulted you in his sincere zeal. Now, you claim that a large part of Biblical verses are metaphors or parables.

The Truth® we all are trying to make you aware of is that we have to follow the Holy Bible word by word - as per 2 Timothy 3:16, Proverbs 30:5-6 and especially James 2:10: “For whosoever shall keep the whole law, and yet offend in one point, he is guilty of all.”

We True Christians™ hold the Holy Bible as the literal, inerrant Truth; read the Chicago Statement on Biblical Inerrancy:

    - “We affirm that the Holy Scriptures are to be received as the authoritative Word of God (Article I)
    - “We affirm that the whole of Scripture and all its parts, down to the very words of the original, were given by divine inspiration” (Article VI).
    - “We affirm that Scripture, having been given by divine inspiration, is infallible, so that… it is true and reliable in all the matters it addresses” (Article XI).

You can’t pick from the Bible only those parts that incidentally match to your worldview. Let me repeat for the two thousandth time: those who believe that God is some kind of a kind, peace-loving hippy are living in denial. The Holy Bible is absolutely clear about that; read Psalm 137:9, Psalm 144:1, Numbers 31:17, Deuteronomy 7:1-2, Deuteronomy 13:15, Deuteronomy 20:16, Joshua 6:21, Joshua 10:40-41, Hosea 13:16, Ezekiel 21:4-5, Matthew 12:30 etc.

    YiC, DUH

Why would we do that? All life could be snuffed out by Jesus in the blink of an eye. Before you know it, the earth could be consumed in fire.

2 Peter 3:10 But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up.

1 Thessalonians 5:2-3 For you yourselves know perfectly that the day of the Lord so comes as a thief in the night. For when they shall say, Peace and safety; then sudden destruction cometh upon them, as travail upon a woman with child; and they shall not escape.

Would you knock politely on your neighbor's door and ask them, if it's not too much trouble, could they please get out of the burning building?
Of course not! You would scream "fire" at the top of your lungs.

That's all we are trying to do for your immortal soul, young lady. We only do it because we care.

So how do people get Saved(c) if they are not tolerated and invited into your church, is that what you want to know?

It never ceases to amaze us the number of so-called "Christians" ask us this question. If they would only blow the dust off of their Bibles and put their noses into the 16th Chapter of Mark, they would find that Jesus commands us to evangelize the world! He didn't say, "find a comfortable pew each Sunday morning and cross your fingers in hopes that some unsaved piece of human refuse will walk through the doors of your church." No, he said, ""Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel." That word, "go" there is a verb. And for those of you illiterate, misguided Christians who allow unsaved people through the doors of your church each Sunday morning, a verb is an "action word," and "go" means "GO!" as in "leave," or "SCRAM!" It doesn't mean, sit on your hiney! The only place for evangelism is outside the confines of the Lord's four-walled holy dwelling place. God's home is a place for True Christians™ to fellowship. Allowing an unsaved person into church is like Rush Limbaugh inviting Hillary Clinton to a meeting of Republicans on how to defeat the Democrats in 2012. It's something you JUST DON'T DO! PERIOD!

    Unsaved NOT Welcome!

I have found everyone here to be very pleasant. I listen and respond.

I follow the Bible. If you follow the Bible, you can do no wrong. Why have you been disrespectful to me? Does my devotion to Jesus unsettle you?
