Re: Allow Me to Introduce Myself
I hope your husband was on a hunting trip while all that happened? Why did your mother need to visit anyway? What is wrong with her own place?Originally posted by ElizabethMuller View PostMy mother was visiting for a while among other things.

Colossians 2:2 True Christians know that they are saved. The certainty of God's word is not new.Originally posted by ElizabethMuller View PostGod has a plan for all of us and it is up to us whether we follow it. Now, I can only hope that I'm on the path God set for me.
HEBREWS 6
11 And wee desire, that euery one of you doe shewe the same diligence, to the full assurance of hope vnto the ende:
12 That yee be not slothfull, but followers of them, who through faith and patience inherite the promises.
13 For when God made promise to Abraham, because hee could sweare by no greater, he sware by himselfe,
14 Saying, Surely, blessing I will blesse thee, and multiplying I wil multiply thee.
15 And so after he had patiently indured, he obtained the promise.

Re: Allow Me to Introduce Myself
Friend, your Bible quotes have Mormon links imbedded in them...why is that? The only two reasons I can think of are:Originally posted by Timothy Parker View PostZech. 7:8–10
8 And the word of the Lord came unto Zechariah, saying, 9 Thus speaketh the Lord of hosts, saying, Execute true judgment, and shew mercy and compassions every man to his brother:
10 And oppress not the widow, nor the fatherless, the stranger, nor the poor; and let none of you imagine evil against his brother in your heart.
1. You think magic underwear will get you into Heaven, or
2. You are googling your way to salvation.
Neither will work.
Yours in Christ,

Do you think you can contradict the scripture I cited by quoting other scripture? If so, you are going to reap what you sow by this mockery of God.Originally posted by Timothy Parker View PostZech. 7:8–10

Galatians 6:7 (King James Version) Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap.

I'm not making them up as I go along, these were taught to me from the day I was born, telling me to stop does not help me either. I understand I am unsaved trash, so teach me, show me scripture that I may not know or understand.Originally posted by Redeemed Papist View PostThen stop just making up your morals as you go along and preaching in here.

Are you just making that up because it sounds nice? You see you seem to have very little Christian Discernment™ so I was wondering if you had some lovely scripture.

You're seriously suggesting that God would kill your brother just to set up the circumstances by which you met your husband?Originally posted by ElizabethMuller View PostI know I am only a humble housewife, but I believe that my brother was a good man. His greatest wish was to be able to walk into God's enternal kingdom. So perhaps that is why God took away his mortal life so that he may live forever in the glory of heaven looking down upon those sinners who burn forever in hell. His death also led me to my husband and to my discovery of Jesus. Praise the Lord!
