Amen Brother V! At lest you are able to rise to this kind of abuse and stand firm!

Why doesn't ListentoThis love us TRUE Christians? Is he a racist!

My apologies, son, but that is the way it is written in my Bible, a King James version that belonged to my grandfather's grandfather and has been passed down to the eldest son.

I think I see your problem, friend. You (until now) have only been exposed to false Christians.

False Christians are people who pick and choose which parts of Scripture they like, and are willing to follow. The bits, here and there, that "make sense in today's world".

Imagine you're a construction foreman, on a huge jobsite. There are many things that need to be done. Of course, some of these tasks are easier than others, and some of them are just down-right messy.

Imagine you get some greenhorns showing up for work. They're all willing to do the easy, clean jobs, but most of them refuse to do the hard, messy work. Would you be as happy giving the slackers their paychecks at the end of the week, as to those who just asked what you wanted them to do, and did it without moaning, bitching, griping, and complaining? I don't think so.

That's kinda like what the Bible is. It's like a set of blueprints for the establishment of God's kingdom here on earth. God wants people who will do the jobs they are given, without refusing the dirty jobs, without complaining about all the unpaid overtime, and actually being HAPPY for the pains, trials, tribulations, and persecutions they'll receive for their hard, thankless work.

So on payday, there are going to be a lot of people who show up wanting their checks, just because they hung around the site all week, and they were wearing their hardhats. They did no work, because it was "too hard", or they "didn't understand the plans and didn't see the point of doing that bit". You think they deserve to keep their jobs?

Does standing around with your thumb up your butt wearing a hardhat make you a construction worker? Or do you actually have to DO CONSTRUCTION WORK?

If you have any more questions, I'm the one pouring extra sand into the concrete mixers.

Son, if the opinions of Christians truly did not matter to you, you would have no call for carrying on like that. Will you say what it is that really troubles you? The LORD can forgive you, son, but you have to ask him to first.

You may not believe in the LORD, son, but does believe in you. And if you were to believe, you could accomplish anything! It is written in the Gospel of Mark, chapter 9, verse 23. Iesus said vnto him, If thou canst beleeue, all things are possible to him that beleeueth.

I will be praying for you, boy. Blessings of the LORD be on you this day.

It always amazes me how people try to argue the Holy Bible without even knowing its contents. Especially against those who follow it infallibly.

Listen to this, Listentothis: those who are cherry-picking from the Bible only those few parts that coincide with their worldviews are interpreting it. We don’t; the whole KJV.1611 Bible exactly as it is, defines our worldview, not the other way around.

Let me repeat for the two thousandth time: those who believe that God is some kind of kind, all-loving, peaceful sugar daddy are living in denial. The Holy Bible is absolutely clear about that; read Psalm 137:9, Psalm 144:1, Numbers 31:17, Deuteronomy 7:1-2, Deuteronomy 13:15, Deuteronomy 20:16, Joshua 6:21, Joshua 10:40-41, Hosea 13:16, Ezekiel 21:4-5, Matthew 12:30 etc

The last comment on intolerance does not need to be answered. I think I shall remove the thread anyway as I don't want to get into a discussion about this. I just feel very strongly about this. Thanks.

    Dear friend:

You come to our discussion board, make the unsupported accusation that we follow "a warped interpretation of the Bible," and scream at us (since that's what the use of all caps is in this context) to read your post now, but we're the intolerant ones? How exactly does that work?

    That's the silliest comment I've read in quite some time. There is no "interpretation" - as Brother Don mentioned, we follow the Bible to the letter, as commanded by scripture;

Deuteronomy 4:2 Ye shall not add unto the word which I command you, neither shall ye diminish ought from it, that ye may keep the commandments of the LORD your God which I command you.

    Deuteronomy 12:32
What thing soever I command you, observe to do it: thou shalt not add thereto, nor diminish from it.

    Proverbs 30:5
Every word of God is pure: he is a shield unto them that put their trust in him.
    Proverbs 30:6
Add thou not unto his words, lest he reprove thee, and thou be found a liar.

Matthew 4:4 Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God.

Romans 15:4 For whatsoever things were written aforetime were written for our learning, that we through patience and comfort of the scriptures might have hope.

James 2:10 For whosoever shall keep the whole law, and yet offend in one point, he is guilty of all.

Revelation 22:18 For I testify unto every man that heareth the words of the prophecy of this book, If any man shall add unto these things, God shall add unto him the plagues that are written in this book:
Revelation 22:19 And if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book.

We don't interpret the Holy KJV.1611 Bible; we follow it literally, word by word.

    God bless you
