Welcome Lois. How many sons has Jesus be able to pull from you so far? Do you still have all your teeth?

What about Jesus gives you the greatest level of excitement?

I've been trying to piece his story together, but Google Language Tools hasn't been too helpful.

As near as I can figure it, he was trying to escape Cuba in a homemade boat, and somehow wound up in England instead of Miami.

    Luis,

The first thing I would say is do not let yourself become a false idol, so Moses smashed his people's false idol so will the Lord do so unto you.

As for underhandedness it is oftren difficult in a place of work to gauge what is actually underhanded. Look at your collegues, if they are doing the same things as you it can't be underhanded can it?

As for your race relations issue I wouldn't worry about it unless he's going to go all Rosa Parks on you.

Hello Mary, why should we be talking about you? I understand that we all like to be the centre of attention from time to time but this thread is about Luis, it is his welcome thread and I feel that this forum could offer him a lot of good in giving his life direction and meaning.

If you wish to bump your welcome thread then I'm sure you in turn will get some attention too, I might even dust off my high school french books and try typing to you in your own language.

    Hi, Mary-Yves.

You are extra comprehensible today. How is it going staying away from the French people? Don't worry about the fake footballer.

ok sorry little bit unsure about this kind of thing.

I don't remember much verse from my youth or really attend church on a regular basis at the moment I was just looking to find understanding with some people that can help me back to God

not sure what you mean about nancy-boy vocations, the biggest aspect of my job involves me hitting the floor

I've come to this forum looking for advice that will help me find the love and acceptance in myself that will keep away the hatred I am feeling from me fellow man.

I moved to europe from South America in my youth as part of a sports scholarship at a time when I felt no presence from God, already I was confused I could not seem to follow one single path, either sports of acting. Seems stupid doesn't it, but you wouldn't believe how easy it is to mix up the two when you don't know your true calling!

I have now settled in the UK and I am making a good material living but cannot help but feel that my life is increasingly empty. Sometimes in my work there have been misunderstanding that I believe are purely cutural but in the UK these have been vastly misinterpretted. I have been openly accused of racism, something that while I do have my misgivings about some of the races and their appropriate standings in our society has been upsettingly aggressive.

I have become much more insular and within myself, but that in itself has allowed me more time to think and I have found myself visiting a church that has reminded me of the one my parents took me to before I left the country. I can feel the faith I lost in my younger days (I think this loss of faith may have contributed to me leaving my family in the first place) coming back to me, but I still feel empty and alone.

I am hopeful that you people can help me find the peace and solace I need to move on in my life.
