  • Why are we standing by?

First I should introduce myself, my name's Jack and I'm from Mobile, Alabama, I'm a coon hunter (the animals that is) and I attend the Dauphin Way Baptist Church every single Sunday, rain or shine!

Now, what I came to ask you all is this:

Why are we simply allowing sin to continue!?

The Good Book says in 1 John 1:7-9 "But if we are living in the light, as God is in the light, then we have fellowship with each other, and the blood of Jesus, his Son, cleanses us from all sin. If we claim we have no sin, we are only fooling ourselves and not living in the truth. But if we confess our sins to him, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all wickedness." So why aren't we just going out and FORCING the word of The Lord on these wicked Muslims, Jews, Atheist Satanists and the rest?! Is it not time we make them accept the word of God as truth!?

Now I know all that forgiveness and love thy neighbor stuff, but I really think that by using force to make heathens embrace The Lord we will really be doing them one gracious favor! So, I want to know, who agrees with me? I've been trying to convince some of my pals down here in Mobile, and plenty of them agree.

Keep up The Lord's good work my friends!

Perhaps, unhappy person, after you have spent more time here, you will see that we do, indeed, reach out to sinners and rebuke them on a regular basis.

I, for example, spend a great deal of my personal time in search of unrepentant, hopeless queers.

I regularly patrol the sinful city of Des Moines dropping in on gay bars and nightclubs in search of the sinful deathstyle the fags practice.

It takes little time to find a likely candidate and usually within only a few minutes I have one on his knees in front of me. They like to be spoken harshly to and gratefully accept the package I offer.

I believe I leave them a better person.

      Two things:

      1. Where does it say we are to force people to do anything?

      2. We use the KJV Bible here.

      Yours in Christ,

Well Jack, I think you have failed to read the fine print. One of Gods gifts to man was 'Free Will'. As any decent person knows, all people,(yes, even future Pastors and Reverends) are born chock full of sin, exploding out every orifice like an anus after an all you can eat slant food buffet. It is with this marvelous gift from God that we are able to decide for ourselves if we want to be with Him, sleep with Him for all of eternity or instead go to hell and have barbed talleywackers shoved deep into our anus, tearing the soft flesh of our rectums, rubbing our prostrates in a disturbing manner.
Tell me Jack, how did you loose the eye?
Isaiah 45:7 I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the LORD do all these things.
Amos 3:6 Shall a trumpet be blown in the city, and the people not be afraid? shall there be evil in a city, and the LORD hath not done it?
Numbers 21:6 And the LORD sent fiery serpents among the people, and they bit the people; and much people of Israel died.
Matthew 10:34 Think not that I am come to send peace on earth: I came not to send peace, but a sword.
Matthew 10:35 For I am come to set a man at variance against his father, and the daughter against her mother, and the daughter in law against her mother in law.
Matthew 10:36 And a man's foes shall be they of his own household.

"Whosoever transgresseth, and abideth not in the doctrine of Christ, hath not God. He that abideth in the doctrine of Christ, he hath both the Father and the Son. If there come any unto you, and bring not this doctrine, receive him not into your house, neither bid him God speed: For he that biddeth him God speed is partaker of his evil deeds" -- 2 John 1:9-11

"And whosoever shall not receive you, nor hear your words, when ye depart out of that house or city, shake off the dust of your feet." --
          Matthew 10:14

"And whosoever will not receive you, when ye go out of that city, shake off the very dust from your feet for a testimony against them." -- Luke 9:5
