What do you find extreme about following God's Word?

I've read the Bible through a whole bunch of times, and I can't recall a single instance where He says, "You know, this part isn't that important. If it offends your sensibilities or conflicts with current secular thinking, just skip it."

In fact, in The Epistle of James (New Testament, by the way), we find:

(James 2:10) "For whosoever shall keep the whole law, and yet offend in one point, he is guilty of all."

Powerful stuff!

So hello my name is Tom and i'am from greece , which from what i've seen isn't one from your favourite country's. I find some of you extremist but then again at the same time i'am intrigued from your responses. I'am an atheist
though being born in a christian family, i find science more attractive than faith in a higher being. Now you would say then why join us if you'r beliefs are the way they are. as stated above iam intrigued by some people here and what they say and i might wanna throw an oppinion here and there.
This is my first introduction it isnt perfect or grammaticaly correct but its what i believe and think in a nutshell.

Tom, don't worry about your grammar, I understand you don't speak God's favorite language; American.

What Church did you attend when you were young? If it was a roman catholic church (or anything besides 100% Baptist) then it was probably a good thing you left.

It's not too late to be washed in the blood of Jesus Christ Tom. I would suggest visiting a local Baptist church and requesting a copy of God's infallible word as written in the King James version of the Bible. Now be careful, if they try and give you any other version (especially the New International Version) run away...quickly.

Your right that was bad from my behalf i felt i was being accused for no reason so i was a bit overboard.

To be tottaly honest i used to believe, i was one of the child's that do some of the works in the church when i was younger, and every saturday-sunday i was always going early but as years passed something changed i dont know.
