    Hello everyone,

As a child I attended church every Sunday for at least 5 or 6 years, since growing up haven't really had much contact with religion until meeting a missionary last year.

I'm curious about what you do here.

    Hello Clarence!

Welcome to the forum of God's one and only favorite Church! What church was the missionary from? Was he affiliated with us?

Here at Landover Baptist Church we follow the Bible 100%. Yes, even the verses that the Democrats, homers and other assorted enemies of God tend to ignore!

Tell us more about your falling out of favor with the Lord and what you're doing now to get right in His Eyes.

Matthew 13:41-43 The Son of man shall send forth his angels, and they shall gather out of his kingdom all things that offend, and them which do iniquity; And shall cast them into a furnace of fire: there shall be wailing and gnashing of teeth. Then shall the righteous shine forth as the sun in the kingdom of their Father. Who hath ears to hear, let him hear.

Allo Crotchdigger! I am Mary-Yves! A person from Quebec! Tell us about you. Where are you from? How many boys has your wife given you? What passages do you most like from the Bible?

        Clarence.
Where are you from, son? I hit the road a few times a year to witness to the young men I meet along the way. Do you live near I-35? I've met a Clarence or two at the various rest stops along the way. Maybe we've run into each other.

So how are you going about making amends with your Savior? It's good to have you back in the fold, son.
        II Thessalonians 1:7-9
And to you who are troubled rest with us, when the Lord Jesus shall be revealed from heaven with his mighty angels,
In flaming fire taking vengeance on them that know not God, and that obey not the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ:
Who shall be punished with everlasting destruction from the presence of the Lord, and from the glory of his power

The man who is being progressively sanctified will inescapably sanctify his home, school, politics, economics, science, and all things else by understanding and interpreting all things in terms of the Word of God and by bringing all things under the Dominion of Christ the King. -R.J. Hello everyone,

I'm originally from England but right now I'm living in China, I'm planning to marry my girlfriend next year so no kids just yet!

Must have been a different Clarence jedebiah, I have visited America but it was about ten years ago, I was over near the West of America. I'm not sure where the missionary was from, I met her here in China, she loved Jesus with all her heart, he told her to come to China and preach the good word of Jesus.
I must admit I'm not very well versed with the Bible at the moment, when I was young we read it a lot but sometimes when you get older you can lose the habit, (Especially in England, church attendance among young people gets lower every year)
Not sure I have a favourite line, you guys all have a favourite? I'm guessing you can't just have one!
Psalm 14:1 The fool hath said in his heart, There is no God. They are corrupt, they have done
abominable works, there is none that doeth good.

Red China? You poor soul! Why didn't you say so in the first place? And for a moment we thought you stopped going to church because you thought you had better things to do. I've head that those commies force people to hold sermons and Bible studies in basements and passageways of the sewer system, lest they be caught and run off to become loggers in Siberia.

Where do you hide your Bible to keep from going to jail? How many toys are you forced to make per day? Do they put the toxins in the products right in front of you or is it done somewhere in transit?

Yeah China doesn't really tolerate religion, it's got better recently, now you can practice openly but you can't actively recruit more members. I went to a Christian thanksgiving dinner (didnt know at the time, a met a guy in the street who invited to me attend) and they seem to not care about recruiting, real nice guy.

I think it's 'cos they see it as a challenge to their power, nothing about hating Jesus, they're just scared of losing power especially since all the uprisings this year in Libya etc.

[QUOTE=Do they put the toxins in the products right in front of you or is it done somewhere in transit?[/QUOTE]

This is one of my biggest problems with living here, some say it's because people are so poor they have to make a living but they are killing their fellow man in the process.
They have crazy ways to increase profit from the weirdest things, for example the milk scandal I'm sure you all heard about, they had a quota they couldn't possibly meet so they watered down the milk to make it seem they had more then added some horrible chemical to disguise the protein content was too low. Add that to the 地沟油 problem (sewage oil) and it's a nightmare. They basically find 2nd used cooking oil and boil it all up so it separates from all the other horrible stuff then sell it on cheap, most of the cheapy restaurants use it even thoug it's illegal, indeed it is a god forsaken land.

It sounds like a terrible place indeed. Are you a missionary yourself? I can't think of any other reason to live amongst over a billion unwashed sinners, just waiting for the next US President to give the order for the launch codes.

I'm sure they use an unmentionable fluid to disguise the protein deficiencies in the milk. Why, just recently we received news from a fellow True Christian that the Chinamen are trying to export food items boiled in the urine of young boys, with some more insider info telling us the biggest prerelease orders are going to the Vatican.

                  Re: hello

Actually I'm studying Chinese here, after English it's probably the most useful language and so hoping I can earn money in the future using this talent, still not a lot of people who can speak both languages.
I like helping people as well so I may decide to open a school here, undecided.

Me and my girlfriend both don't want to stay in China long term though, it's not a place I want my kids to grow up, they'll have cancer before they're 20 living here

Yeah, wouldn't surprise me with the vatican, I think they've got their own steady supply of children already though

I've heard you used to be able to get a visa here on the grounds of being a missionary but now I don't think it's possible, the government is so corrupt rules change everyday, so frustrating trying to get the up to date news, all the websites have different info!
I left England because I was fed up doing a meaningless job and hate the problems with society there, especially the teenage to 20 something kids, no respect and no fear of the law, teachers aren't allowed to punish kids in any way, they need a good kick up the arse, that'll teach 'em some respect.

I can't blame you for leaving England, but I also thought your new choice of location was questionable until you said you're learning their gobbeldygook language!

You are truely on a path to serving the Lord, Brother! Your skills will be invaluable when it comes time to interrogate those sinners after we roll over the border with North Korea. I need not say more in case they are monitoring your internet.

I will pray for your health as well. I'm sure stomach cancer is rampant there with a steady diet of dog meat and water that's been recycled through elementary schools.

Lack of respect for the law is a sign of a civilization in decline.

Yeah they don't care about God's commandments, here's the thing....

Say someone lived away from civilisation, in the jungle, never seen a white man before, don't even know what a phone is, do you hate on them because they don't care about God's word? seriously, they would have no chance to have heard the good lord's word, who's fault is that?

You are the way you are because you grew up with it, other people grew up in different ways of life, their belief is just as strong as yours, everyone thinks they are right, gonna be fun finding out huh.

You're loving the racism huh, can't get enough of it, Jesus's birthplace is nowhere near where you live, I don't really understand your loyalties, do you hate on all Jesus and his apostles? Jesus wasn't american you know.

O Lord our God, help us to tear their soldiers to bloody shreds with our shells; help us to cover their smiling fields with the pale forms of their patriot dead; help us to drown the thunder of the guns with the shrieks of their wounded, writhing in pain; help us to lay waste their humble homes with a hurricane of fire; help us to wring the hearts of their unoffending widows with unavailing grief; help us to turn them out roofless with little children to wander unfriended the wastes of their desolated land in rags and hunger and thirst, sports of the sun flames of summer and the icy winds of winter, broken in spirit, worn with travail, imploring Thee for the refuge of the grave and denied it--for our sakes who adore Thee, Lord, blast their hopes, blight their lives, protract their bitter pilgrimage, make heavy their steps, water their way with their tears, stain the white snow with the blood of their wounded feet! We ask it, in the spirit of love, of Him Who is the Source of Love, and Who is the ever-faithful refuge and friend of all that are sore beset and seek His aid with humble and contrite hearts. Amen.

God being truth, justice, goodness, beauty, power, and life, man is falsehood, iniquity, evil, ugliness, impotence, and death. God being master, man is the slave. Incapable of finding justice, truth, and eternal life by his own effort, he can attain them only through a divine revelation... he who desires to worship God must harbor no childish illusions about the matter, but bravely renounce his liberty and humanity.
