Hello, my name is Rose and I am 19 years old. I live with my father in New York City. I go to Bethel Gospel Assembly, where I am an alto in the choir. My favorite Bible verse is Proverbs 4:13. After the sound beating I got from Daddy when I spoke up last time, I will try to be more quiet and docile from now on, trying my very hardest to become, at some time, a True Christian.

I'm not married because sometimes I say foolish things. Daddy won't let me get married until I'm rid of that habit.

I do bake pies. I also bake cakes, however cakes can end up dry. Dry cake is as nasty as a girl in pants.

Daddy always carries a single firearm with him, because the police would probably bother him if he carried more.

I don't mean to be uppity. It's the New York influence that rubs off on me in school. Daddy sent me to public school for twelve years. I just don't question his decision- not even I have the idiocy to attempt that.

Bethel Gospel Assembly, Inc., was uniquely born out of love when in 1916, two young girls - Mae Allison and another young girl, after receiving Christ as their Lord and Savior, applied for membership at a downtown church in New York City. They were refused membership to the church because of the color of their skin.

And justly so. I do not know what Mae was thinking--that she could sashay into First Baptist with her big hat and worship with New York's 400? Well, times have changed for the better and Landover is at the forefront with its Ex-Negro Ministry. Remember, girl, sisters are doin' it to themselves! Paise Jesus!
